If you listen to the engine, bigwill619, and look at the flaps, slats and tabs, you'll see that he, indeed, was applying max reverse thrust. Further, I spoke with the pilot afterwards, as I am the Morning Host for the only commercial station that broadcasts directly from the grounds. I asked him specifically about this landing.

he didn't need max reversers he was already going slow
