@SurgicalZeal Yeah, I pretty much agree. I think he's right about the checkpoint system though: games have evolved to offer higher enjoyment without annoying the player as much as the older games. I think that you should lessen the frequency of checkpoints/autosaves with the higher difficulty levels ('I Wanna be The Guy' comes to mind). Even with him missing game cues, the overall entertainment that you get from his playthroughs is WELL worth the minor stuff. But sometimes man.......somtimes

Man, after seeing Phil's playthrough of this game, the game is pretty dull and boring, its all about the gore but its not really that fun. Id rather see him play donkey kong country returns since Wii games don't make him that angry and they are not boring like this game is.

Ok, I have to say... That part where you fell through the floor was completely your own fault. The fucking walls and floor turned red and the lights turned on, just like they were on the one that was already open... The fucking mask said GOGOGO. The floor that had the instant kill trap previously had CLOSED. YOU STOOD STILL. You STILL blamed it on the game? For being an honest person, you sure AREN'T sometimes. But that aside, I am loving the playthrough.

@YourAJerkChris dont expect too much out of it. it was based on a old game. or a remake of the original. back then , splatterhouse are one of those generic smash type of games with a bit of side scrolling. try imagining Metal Slug ending up like this. It may end up the same concept of how it is going to be played and presented.
