Regardless of your opinion of the Beatles, they made more of a contribution to music than you could ever dream of. Also, the hippie movement of the 60's led to the uncovering of many injustices in both the military and legal systems. I'm not a hippie, but even though I disagree with many of their ideas regarding Vietnam and other things, I still realize their contributions to society.

That being said, the Beatles are awesome and you should listen to them more before you judge.
