Fraps needs a very fast machine mate.

I record my gameplay videos at 1080P on a Core i7 860 @ 4.0Ghz + Kingston SSD and still it is not enough some times.

you have got an hd5850 but you record on 720p and play THIS GAME XD go buy a new 1080p HD 23 inch screen and forget about this game :P

Recording with fraps destroys performance anyway, so the graphics has nothing to do with it.

This game was recorded at 1920X1080 as you can see in the options, but was the transcoded back to 1280X720. There was no 1080P option in Youtube back then, otherwise I would have left it at 1920X1080. My recent videos are all 1080P.

@toutagamon back then? its from november 2009....what are you talking about? btw fraps indeed kills performance, but on a 5850 it does not even matter because you already have more than enough FPS.

Well "back then" was misplaced, but still, Youtube started 1080P support at November 13th and this video was made and uploaded on November 12th. I didn't know that Youtube would start 1080P support the next day. ;)

@toutagamon hehe ok just one more thing I had uploaded some 1080p video's before the 1080p support and now they are also converted to 1080p HD so thats really nice :D you shouldn't have decreased it to 720p oh well ;)

Yeah, I was transcoding all my videos to 720P since I would never guess there would ever be a 1080P option. Anyway 720P is still nice I guess. :)
