  • this should be the 5th movie

  • @Frankenstein61 Thank you so much for your words!

  • AWESOME!!!

  • @stawaz Thank you! :)

  • Reasons I liked this short:

    1. The Dagger of Hell sounds much cooler than The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

    2. You managed to rent a beautiful horse, and use an antique compass

    3. The equipment used and editing was fast yet not shaky-cam

    - Very nicely done guys

  • what kind of camera did you use?

  • Hey fran what editing program did you use for your indiana jones fan film???? And Where did you get that really old and awesome compass? I would love to have a compass like that to use in my indiana jones fan films too!!!!!!! Did you find the compass at a store that sells old stuff or was the compass handed down from gen to gen to your family then finally handed down to you to use in your indy film? where did you find the sound effects when searched the internet to use for your films??

  • FANtastic!!!

  • this is not México is Spain (Europe) the desert of "Tabernas" .

    sorry for my english

  • this is not México is Spain (Europe) the desert of "Tabernas" .

Is the same site where indiana jones, a fistfull of dollars where shot

    sorry for my english

  • This is one of the best Indy fan films I've seen.High marks. Hope that mine comes out as well.Plus Mexico is a great location.

  • @jakedavis73 Thanks!!!

  • Almost every Indiana Jones fan film begins with Indy getting punched.

    Great film btw. lol

  • @ArrowEraproductions Thanks!!!

  • Hey Fran,Awesome Film,One of the best action fighting scenes in Indiana Jones Fan Films. Well i speak very little spanish= Yo habla muy polo espanol. Well i"m glad you had it translationed in english so we can understand what the actors are saying. Thank you for that helps alot. So when are we indy fans going to see part 2 and so on of you great film. Your Huge Indiana Jones Fan DrJonesFanFilms75

Great action clips. Very entertaining. Can't wait to see part II.

  • @bluemensch Thank you!

  • Fun movie. Love the spirit of adventure.

  • Thanks!

  • well done very good job i enjoyed, i hear that you have a nother ind fan film on the way tell when can we see it on youtube

  • nice job watch my shitty indiana jones fan film

  • very well done!!! Good job!!

  • Love this, a director on his way.

    Make more make many.

    OXOX

  • Thanks! :)

  • ¡chulo! 10/10. Pero, ¿qué le ocurrió al caballo?

  • ¡Gracias! Pues se murió por el desierto.

  • very well done!!!!!!

at some parts i did did that the pacing was too quick. But that small mistake doesnt take away from this very well done fan film

  • This is incredibly well done! You totally held my interest and I was completely engaged. If this were done professionally, there is no doubt that it would be able to stand up right next to the original Indiana Jones films. Well done, sir!

  • Nice job!

  • I was very impressed with this. I'm sure you'll have a bright future as a director.

Might I suggest something though? It would be great if you offered an english dubbed version. I don't mind reading the subtitles at all, but it would just give it that classic Indy feel.

  • Buen trabajo y felicidades por el video.

  • ¡Muchas gracias!

  • One of the greatest Indiana Jones fan films ever! Very great job! Love it!

  • omg i love u!

  • Brilliant!

  • Thank you!

  • 5 stars!

  • Thanks!!!

  • Other than the modern vehicle,it was like watching a movie!

  • Amazing! It's just like the films!

  • what camera was this shot with

    ?

  • A normal MiniDv camera

  • what happen later? where is the horse? and the dagger?,nice movie!

  • Yeah me too what happens after that person finds Indy in the desert?

  • Nice cinematic shots! Suggestion, MORE action in the begining, resulting in the viewers critical interest and focus, as it always is...

  • Great film, i loved it

    congratulations

  • nice piece of cinematic art...

  • excelent film!

  • This movie is great. The guy playing Indy did a great job. And the action was awesome.

Is there going to be a sequel or is this a one shot?

  • nice effort, however you broke spielberg's rule... the first and last part of a movie must be action packed.. maybe next time don't have such a huge lead up with credits. still good though

  • good movie ;)but i think a Cherokee necklace in Mexico is a bit strange..

  • Not quite, imean, the Aztecs were indian...so yeah.

  • @prigual

Why is that? Before the Americans, before the Spanish conquistadores, there were indians all over the place, all over America, so it isn't that strange that they found a necklace over there :p

  • Cool!

  • its like a game of keep away

  • this was as fun as star wars fan videos. Good job!

  • Great work I must say!

  • sweet!!!!

  • awsome

  • Easily some of the best Indy fan films. Great location - where was that? And ur bad guy has the perfect laugh. However, these films lack one vital ingredient: it looks like there's a severe shortage of signoritas in Spain or maybe just in your social circles...? ;-) thanks for the fun work tho. Can't help thinking if you had a bit of money and put the same effort into script as you do shooting them and make something original you'd be onto a winner. Best of luck to you.

  • "Great location - where was that?"

Canary Islands, Spain Gran Canaria or Teneriffe maybe

  • the dagger of hell was that big pit that those 2 guys tried to push indy in

  • uh so what was the dagger of hell

  • That was excellent, I loved it. Great filmography and the acting was great.

  • Nicely done! Poor Frank. =(

  • loved it! great job!

probably the best version of indy that i've seen besides the real ones!

i also liked the wilhelm scream at 3:20, it's a nice touch!

  • whooooa! thanks for the inspiration!

  • I saw this a few years ago and I really liked it.

But is there more? What happens after that person finds Indy lying in the desert?

Thanks and this is another one of my fave Indy fan films. I love the fight scenes.

  • great.

  • Good cinematography. Didn't like some of the goons, they just look like a bunch of director's freinds.

It could be shorter with a better edition.

Anyway, one can see a lot of effort from everybody.

But what the heck happened to Indy's horse?

  • there was good cinematograqphy but yes all of the actors were the director's friends.....this was low budget, so u can't pay actors. honestly it should have been longer. but i do agree with you there was alot of effort and it paid off.

and yes....what the heck happened to indy's horse! lol

other that that i thought it was very good.

  • it was good the guy that played indie really didnt sell it to me. but im a hard one to break plus harrison ford is a total badass and it is going to be hard to match him. but awesome film

  • This really captures the essence of Speilberg's vision. I think its the best low budget Indy film I've seen on the web. Very well planned out.

  • Rafa Rodriguez looks alot like Indiana.

  • holy shit jesus did the special effects!!!lol water to wine.. that was really good though 5 stars

  • lmao

  • QUESTION:Did u make this? are u director? Did u make that indy clothes, if u did good job!

  • That was Great! sure make more.

    This deserves 5 stars!

  • BRAVO!!!!!!

Every bit of it was in the ttue sense of Indiana Jones.

  • how do you make the smoke come out of objects when the bullets hit stuff? by the way fantastic job!

  • wilhelm scream!!! lol

    very, very well done.

  • Very well done! The only thing that confused me was that Indy talked spanish when talking to himself. Other than that - Great job! 4 stars!

  • that is the bes parody ever!! It also looks expensive.

  • great work

  • That was sweet! Goode costumes, realistic dialogue and plot, and hilarious ecause the sound made by the guy going off the cliff at 3:20 has been used in almost every major motion picture ever! ***** five stars!

  • it's nice yes :) but never really saw the dagger :x and i think he runs 2 much. but very nice indeed

  • this is awesome! well done! i gave you 5 stars =]

  • VIVa MEXICO

  • Um, where's the "dagger of hell"? lol... Good job nonetheless! 4 stars

  • that was pretty cool!

  • great job. nicely done (5 stars)

  • Good job amigos

    keep the awesome work V.FILMS

  • This very good work! Great stunts whith the car and the horse. Great angles, HECK! The whole thing is AMAZINGLY awesome, looking forward to part 2, if there will be one!

  • great job!! :) BUT - i wanna know wat happens! you never uploaded the rest of it, dude...who was that figure that helped Indy out at the very end??? he looked VERY mysterious...

and where were the inns and pyramids and backstreets of your summary????

  • i wacth this every day

  • That was great! Keep up the good work.

  • Jesus does the special effects, but hasn't performed any miracles here.

  • genius.

  • i love this ive wacthed it 20 times so far

  • god damit man i hope lucas sees this u have a job in the movie buisness

  • THAT WAS GREAT..WELL DONE !!

  • Me and my sister tried to write a story called the Dagger of Hell but we only got about 50 pages into it

  • not bad but it aint spielburg

  • brilliant

  • that was fuckin awsome!!!! well done guys. keep makin more, i really enjoyed that

  • Fantastic! I loved it.

  • cant wait for part 2!!!

  • Wow, amazing! oO

Are you kinda camera- or acting students?

  • Really Nice. I like the acting, too. But, I could run faster than the guys in the jeep. Subtitles could be a little slower so we can read them...to be continued when Part 2 arrives. Thanks.

  • i could run faster than those guys

  • I wanna see what's next!! xDD

  • The sound effects are from the emperor's tomb the game. cool

  • my computer screen sucks, i cant read the subtitles

  • This put a giddy smile on my face.

  • that was awesome

  • Check out my channel for Indiana Jones IV shooting videos from New Haven.

  • COME ON !

  • Awesome Film! You did a great job! Very much captivating.

  • With out a doubt the best Indy FanFilm ever, and actually the best Youtube Vidoe ever!

  • great!

  • very nice!

  • That was without a doubt the best video on all of Youtube. You captured Indy spot on! I didn't even mind the subtitles, and I hate subtitles more than Indy hates snakes! I just don't have enough words to express how captivating this was to watch. I look forward to watching your star ride~~Arthur PS on second look, this is better than Temple of Doom, hands down!

  • soy super fan de indiana jones lo felisito exelente corto metraje realy the best . congratulations my friend buen trabajo!

  • I dont think you need to write out the credits to the ENTIRE movie if you did EVERYTHING... by "grip: Fran Casanova : I got the idea heh. biut good job

  • dude mexicos cars kicks americans cars anus in 1929. lol. but really good job on the video

  • Even have the wilhelm scream.

  • This is amazing. Not only is the action good, but the directing and cinematography is almost a perfect copy of the real movies. Great job!

  • Superb work! Easily the best fan film Ive ever watched.

  • Brilliant work.

  • Hello.

I'm a Hungarian Indiana Jones Fan.

This film is the best fan work I ever seen. The acting is wonderful This jones like "original" jones!

    Good action scenes.

Bravo, bravo, bravo! I send this movie all of my friends.

  • Thank you very much!If you like my films, look for the PROMO of my new adventure short film called THE HEART OF THE DRAGON.

    Fran Casanova.

  • I have to say, most of the other Indy knock-off vids I've seen have been a joke. But yours, it's really great! I'm a HUGE Indy fan, so I say, you've done him justice. Good job.

  • Thank so much for your words!I´m a fan too and Spielberg is my point of reference is this great world of the cinema. I always want to tell a new story respecting the character and visual style create by Spielberg and his team. A big hug from Spain and see my other films writing "Fran Casanova".

  • The closest thing to an Indiana Jones movie since The Last Crusade!

  • great acting!

  • Awsome!!! I love your camera work it makes it very exciteing and compelling Spielberg would be proud.

  • Awsome. Very good feel for the choreography and editing style of the Indy movies.

  • Thanks for your words!, Spielberg is my best influence and Indy is my best adeventure character. Go to my web site to know about my other films.

  • Arriba ese espíritu Jones!!!! bravo!!

  • pretty good movie - love the part at 4:05 lol!

  • I didn't know they had landrovers in the 1920s. Just kidding. That was fun!

  • Jejeje Agradezco tus palabras!

  • Very good! This is acually the best movie I seen that has been made by amateurs.. great job!

  • Hahahaha very funny

  • this is the best frikkin thing ive seen on here

  • This is flippin sweet;

    Absolutely indy-like, i love it!!

  • Muy Buen Trabajo,Y Que Paso Con El Caballo?

  • This is very nicely done! Humor and good editing in action and sound! Keep it up!

  • It has all that it takes, wonderful, more of it!

  • Whoa! That was great. Best fan film I've seen in a while

  • Incredible shots. What camera do you have man? This should be on the new program by Spielber, on the lot!

  • Very Nice! Well Directed!

  • WOW! the actor playing indy did AWESOME, he has harrisons facial expressions down to a T!

  • Geez, I didn't know Indy was much of a Spanish linguist.... not to mention a heavy accent.

  • MUy bien hecho. Buenos guiños a la saga original.

  • Thats the best fan film i have seen since Troops! You captured the vibe of the films perfectly, The acting was 110% and the score fitted perfectly to the scenes. It was freakishly bizzare that in some shots, Your Indy looked like Harrison Ford in both look and how he carried himself. The mannerisims of Jones were all there and i was deeply engrossed from begining to end!

    More please!

    :)

  • Awesome! Did you do a continuation of the movie?
