As much as I love the Titanic, the Queen Mary was far more luxurious. The ship had multi-story rooms, a mall area, a grander pool, air conditioning, and the second class rooms had their own bathrooms (a feat for the time.)
Furthermore, the ship was far faster and stronger than the Titanic - and during that time people chose to travel on the fastest ship. Passenger ships were like airplanes to them back then - a quick means of transport.
Titanic is on the bottom of the ocean in 2 chunks and covered with rusticles, you can still spend the night on the Queen. Can't spend the night on the Titanic unless you're one of those glow in the dark transparent angler fish like on Nemo. Easy choice if you ask me.

As a ship, the QM was far superior, in part due to the Titanic disaster. Bigger, stronger, faster, much safer. Titanic got alot of people killed and generated untold millions of box office revenue, as well as contributing to improvements in ship design and overall safety. The Queen Mary's contribution during WWII was immense. If you had to sail on either ship, which would you stake your life on? Remember, Titanic made only one voyage that didn't end well.

And no ship will ever surpass the SS Normandie when it comes to comfort, beauty, and luxury. It was and is the most beautiful and luxurious ship ever built. The normandie was built to be a representation of Palace of Versailles but at sea.

I'd have to pick Titanic by a small margin...yet I'm not sure as to why! :) And to everyone thinking it'd still be around had it not sunk...what??? Had it never sank there would be no great Titanic lore, no history, no nothing! It would've been another great liner that would've lived its life and then been scrapped like 99% of all the rest. No one would would even know what the Titanic was, let alone the Olympic or Gigantic (original name for the Brittanic). No books, no movies either!

Titanic was good but had she survived for just two years she would have been eclipsed by size by the Aquitania, Vaterland,Bismarck and Imperator.
Mauretania was the true legend of the seas, fastest most beautiful liner from 1906 til 1927

If I travel accross Atlantic sea on one of them, I perfer Queen Mary because you have 100% Chance of surviving because she is the most safest ship of RMS because not once she struck a Ice Berg, Not once she was struck by a Torpedo or mines, and there was not one Fatalities and she stays afloat at Long Beach California.

Queen Mary was built for speed to recapture the Blue Riband. Titanic was
built for comfort with her outdated reciprocating engines. Titanic was
built as 1 of three workhorse- liners. Queen Mary was built the finest,
safest & fastest Cunard had ever offered; indeed in a class by herself.
There are many who believe, with good reason, that Titanic was actually
a "murder weapon" for rich men who were against the Federal Reserve.

As a ship, the QM was far superior, in part due to the Titanic disaster. Bigger, stronger, faster, much safer. Titanic got alot of people killed and generated untold millions of box office revenue, as well as contributing to improvements in ship design and overall safety. The Queen Mary's contribution during WWII was immense. If you had to sail on either ship, which would you stake your life on? Remember, Titanic made only one voyage that didn't end well.
