@molemanlover13 the liquid does not mess it he shudnt have kept peeling it back up. After you apply the solvent to the screen protector and use the squeegee then let it sit for 24 hours its perfect.
Thanks for the review @mtpflyers! We don't recommend spraying your device driectly with the application solution. Also, if you wait 48-72 hours the solution will dry and that haze on the screen will go away. Great video! Thanks!
I don't blame you for not doing a good job on installing that because I used a screen protector called invisible shield by Zagg or something like that and it was hard to put on my ipod.
I REALLY think that apple should just make their own high quality screen protectors and put them on the ipods and ipads at the factory, that way we don't have to deal with it.
Great Job bro! The side pieces are what kicked my butt. Took me forever to line those up right. A lot of the "haze" has gone away only 17 hrs later. Im hoping that everything is perfect by tomorrow. Keep up the great work man.
you shouldn't have rubbed the solution spray with your fingers. i feel like your fingers could have left some grease on the screen shield itself. dont quote me though, just my thoughts.
on the fence on which ipad to get. 32 gb wifi or 16gb wifi/3gs. Currently i have an iphone 3gs and will upgrade this summer so not sure if in need the 3gs ipad. What are your thoughts.

UUUMMMMM NO! There is NO WAY that I'm spraying my expensive electronics like that.. There is way to much of a probability that the liquid will get into the device and ruin it. Plus there is no need to have to spray your stuff down like that when every other company can manage to do it without the spraying..
@macmaster24 Yes. I have a Zagg full body for my itouch and i LOVE IT!! The only bad thing is that it can't work with some cases and it comes with a sponge instead of a spray.
yah your not supposed to fold it in half, also you dont need to wipe it with your finger because the grease from your hand can make it not clear and look a bit dirty
looks like a lot of fine scratches from using that squeegee and you can see the crease in the middle. but its highly reflective, how is it in sunlight i wonder? I'd definitely get the anti-glare one. but this one is not very good. but like you said once you turn it on it doesn't seem to matter. but i am not a fan of spraying liquid.
Hey Mike,Great install,As you did everything by the book, and with the spraying of the SS,yeh you right you can not put to much soloution on,as it evapourate's anyway,Shame it turned out like it did,i did not expect that central line to stay hour's l8r,oh well we all learn from our mistake's,lol,no body's perfect when it come's to install's,Thank's for the video :)
I ordered the same thing and dang it's hard to get it on perfect. They say wait up to 24-48 hours and it will clear up!!! Not true and I didn't use to much solution. I'm think about returning mine. Good vid though man...
@209google i got the zagg and it looks amazing and perfect, no bubbles, lines, etc. can't even see it on... it just doesnt come with side protection, but it has a button piece. if you dont like the bodyguardz one, check out the zagg.
@ItsCrkrJak I was looking into the zaggs, but when I was gonna order screen shield everything was sold out, and bodyguardz was available, and plus I have heard good things about them as well. This is the first time ive installed a screen shield with a sulotion on it. It has been about 5 days now and the little bubbles havent cleaned out, but it does look a lot better. Im just gonna leave it on and wait until Apple comes out with their shields.
@ItsCrkrJak Thanks for the heads up on the Zaggs too, I will deffenitly take a look at them and maybe check out some reveiwes and see how they come out...
@mtpflyers hey, i will buy an ipad soon cuz i will be in the us so wich screen protector do you recommend? invisebleSHIELD? or wrapsol?? or others????
@SchneiderStudios You say that..but every wet install says to spray on the screen.. Look at Larry Greenbergs PROFESSIONAL install at the mall.. The guy sprays directly on the device... I think he does it all day every day...
@mtpflyers Iv'e seen a video of someone putting the iPad under a water tap and the screen stopped working so it's not fully sealed. I guess you take a chance. You just need a little liquid.
mikey..do you really need to spay directly on the device? Ive seen u do that on iphone installs, thats not what they recommend no? Plus arent you scared of getting all that liquid into the home button...some must get in there as you push it out!!! Ill go with dry install
@voodoodan245 the directions actually do tell you to spray it right on the device, if you try to do it dry you WILL ruin it. It makes it so that you can move it around and line it up. Plus you do it with the iPad/iPhone off, and let it dry fro 24 hours before you turn it back on so as long as you wipe up the excess liquid as you go its fine
@molemanlover13 the liquid does not mess it he shudnt have kept peeling it back up. After you apply the solvent to the screen protector and use the squeegee then let it sit for 24 hours its perfect.

From what I understand the liquid is simply water and soap that activates the adhesive and allows you to position it before it dries.
