  • thats just a tremolo and distortion thats it not the wobble or a throbber that gives you real dubstep..

  • @auntjomama10 It's a controlled LFO and that's as close as you can get on this particular device. It was never meant to be "real" and wasn't really planned. Read the description next time.

  • All these videos are just a person playing one note. It would be cool if one person was playing guitar and someone else messed with the pedal.

  • @hillty111 It's more of demonstrating the effect and how to accomplish it, although you are right. This was very spur of the moment. It was basically..."Did I just do that?..let me tweak the sound a bit...oh that's cool. Bro go get the camera"

  • @XXxZAKKxX Ya I understand, and it sounds awesome by the way! ITs just, im waiting for someone to go a step further, you know?

  • @hillty111 Yea, It can probably be used in some recordings, only thing is the speed is pretty much relative. It has a readout, but you cant get it to switch perfectly back and forth from one speed to another. Which would make a great guitar dubstep solo in the middle of a piece, but not throughout the song. :/

  • it would be much better controlled with an expression pedal instead of knobs.

  • @Twixgtx Can you link the expression pedal to an LFO rate? I didn't know that.

  • @XXxZAKKxX i believe you can control the rate with an expression or volume pedal(same difference as far as i'm concerned) but i have no idea if its possible on that pedal(if that's what your implying). here's a look at my logic, if a knob has the values 0-100, and an expression pedal the same, then don't you think you can control the same parameters on an expression as on a knob? it's hard to tell if your trying to be a dick with that remark or not. i'm not trying to be, just so you know.

  • @Twixgtx I'm not trying to be a dick at all, I figured you had the same pedal. I've just never tried linking them. I'll have a look at it later and see if you can.

  • @XXxZAKKxX great, now i'm glad i left that comment since it could've gone either way. you just didn't reply in a way that i'm used to. i don't think it can be done on that pedal, but i saw a video of the line 6 fm4, i think, and it has the effect, and you can also use an expression pedal to control the speed or rate i believe. would be amazing to try all this shit, but i have no money. i really need a job

  • @Twixgtx I just tried it out, and no, you can't link the expression pedal to the LFO. It doesn't give the option, which is a shame.

  • OH MY GOD THANK YOU

  • @L0wD0wnPhX No problem :D

  • You can do almost the same with a rotary effect...

  • @JustinGilby Traditionally LFOs are used to get the effect, and I believe I was using der-ya so I couldn't use a rotary effect.

  • exactly what i was looking for, i have an older model (rp 350) but im sure it has enough features to do this, could you let me know how to do it in more detail? i change the expression pedal to lfo and made it control the amplvl but it doesnt do much do you have any other effects on and what not? you time would be greatly apprecitated!

  • @AHero4Sale Just make sure your ampLvl is going from 0 to 99, then play around with the rate. The sound, I THINK, was on the der ya preset.
