Yes, this is such a hackneyed piece, like Beethoven's "Moonlight" Sonata or Chopin's Nocturne opus 9/2 in E flat...but that doesn't say anything about the musical quality of the piece of course, nor does it mean that one should try to be "original" at all costs when performing it for the "umpteenth" time...

You certainly don't turn it into a LiebestraumA, it's a passionate and tasteful performance, though I do not always agree with your use of rubato.

I'm no expert in German, but as I understand it, one love-dream (singular) is a 'liebestraum', two or more love-dreams (plural) are 'liebesträume' so, much as I would like to believe otherwise, my spelling of 'liebestraum' on the video itself is, alas, wrong!
