@silatguy yea dont get me wrong, i love all types of music. hip hop and hardcore rap are great. but this one sample was better in this trance song... the name escapes me. you should check that one out if you are into that genre of music. its pretty tight
@silatguy OK - without lots of other equipment visible in the shot, I assumed this was in your house. The vertical nature of the machine supported this assumption since the 45 degree machine is so much more common in the gyms. I use a vertical machine in my garage, but it doesn't have any stops near the top. So to avoid starting from rock bottom, I've rigged something up. I'd sooner have something designed for purpose for safety's sake - hence my question. Keep up the hard work!
@kdpointon yea it does kind of look like a garage contraption. I like vertical leg presses occasionally because compared to the incline one I actually feel a lot more muscle directly involved including my hip flexors which is important for squats. The only bad thing is it wont simultaneously train your lower back and core strength so you cant neglect that.
Great job bro - nice to see a training vid out of you bro. Although, if I were you I would stick to front squats and back squats....don't waste your time on the leg press machines. But that's just me....
Well I dont do the 45 degree leg press period anymore. I usually do back squats, conventional deadlift, or trap bar deadlifts but every couple weeks I throw these in here. As long as I do low back assistance work these usually help my squats.
damn thats nice, in our powerlifting room we use 100 pound tractor weights and 50 pound ones to

I hear ya bro.....it's just my personal opinion....I think your time is wasted using leg press machines. But that's just me.
As long as you are training....you're doing WAY better than most. So, keep it up bro.
