You don't have to get all the masks. In this game, Link can keep traveling back in time with Ocarina until the game is finish. The only mask that are really necessary are the boss masks from the temples.

Getting 100% on this one is harder because u only get 4 boss hearts and the rest can get anoying to get i still have this game to im playing through with four hearts i can own this game im so good at it
