I agree! I think much too much is being made of the convention of party switch in Congress during midterms. The GOP has gone OUT OF ITS WAY to paint themselves into the corner of ultra right wing positions on issues, and Alaska's GOP governor candidate is just a sampling of the current bizarre strangeness that is the Republican Party these days...

I think the Dem's are going to retain both houses in November AND pick up a few governors, especially anywhere Sarah Palin has endorsed...

Republicans, tea-partyers and Fox News at least have panache in picking Constitutionality to focus on... with a professor of Constitutional law in the White House. Could it be they suspect 75+ percent of their true believers couldn't pick the Constitution out of a lineup of parchment documents? Sakes!!!
