The Patriot Act. Really, now that you mention it, lets argue the point. The Patriot Act was signed into law by Bush and allowed for easer gathering of foreign intelligence to expand on our national security. In my opinion, and yes I am intitled to one, it was a great idea. Unless you have something to hide linked with terrorism, what is wrong with it? Not like they read your love letters. It compiled a database of keywords to look for such as "bomb" or "InnAb109". Are you a terrorist?

First off, that is a misquote. If I had a choice between the safety of my family and someone listening in on a conversation, I chose the listening in. Its not like they listen to everyones conversations, instead they target specific words (text) that match what might be of concern. If you aren't a terrorist, why worry?
