thank you sir for teaching her how to shoot right and not being one of those guys who doesn't tell the girl shit just tells her to shoot it and then laughs when she falls or something.
I want to show you my little gun baby & hit you in the head with some hot brass like a dumb ass, Dude your wearing sun glasses at sun down. wow another wanabe "Merc". I knew a guy like you back in the day & when ever he came around chicks would leave.
@modex20 presents your body armor to the target, if you take a bladed stance not only do you have no protection but it's a picture perfect killshot through lungs/heart. Just like hunting game.
@TheFatAssCat .308 Winchester, what a great round. Most people on the internet get their reference of firearms by playing Call of Duty, not from actually firing them. :P
See how easy it is shooting these type of rifles can be with proper training. They were designed for universal use amongst people of different sizes and stature, it's just a matter of a good instructor, as seen with this video.
Why are you telling her to bring her back shoulder forward? This forces her torso to become more square with her target, opening up a greater surface area of exposer to her assailant. If she keeps her back shoulder back, and meets the stock with her cheek, she can maintain a profile view to the target and minimize her exposure to her assailant.
@skiendog Different schools of thought on body placement when firing. A slightly bladed stance does present a smaller target to the front...but on a 360 degree range two way range, it doesn't matter how you're positioned. Removing the 'target cross section' argument it then becomes a "What position allows me to control the weapon most efficiently to get as many solid hits on the target"
@skiendog For someone with a smaller body type, a bladed stance allows your reaction/weak hand to be placed further forward on the weapon. This offsets mechanical swing allowing more control of the rifle when 'driving' from one target to another. The high placement of the hand is similar to a high grip on a pistol: further up on the bore axis lets you control muzzle climb.
Great looking AR, that's what we need more of us citizens getting armed because we know what is coming and we need to defend ourselves because we know that the Government is going to fail us... Keep building and help keep America SAFE.
Haha, I know exactly how you felt in that video... I just built my first AR 2 weeks ago and I was giggling like a school girl the first time I shot it:p
@mtbiker731 That'd be me. Yes I do have a gun too... I fail to see your point. We're friends and she gave me a funny look so I smirked. In fact I didn't know this was being video'd or I would have stayed out of the shot.
@TMHonfire102 Yeah I agree. When she's not firing she even keeps her finger out of the trigger guard, and she doesn't get all excited and muzzle sweep everyone. lol.
@TMHonfire102 Definetelty not her first time shooting an AR. Most of the time she borrows one of ours. She FINALLY completed her own rifle and this was the first shots she fired from it after the initial zero.
Funny, she's got better form than most guy's I've seen.
