the best whiskey is a very few single malt scotch whiskeys. Laphroigh (sp?) , hard to beat but expensive. Jameson, good irish whiskey, stacks up against most. and triple distiilled, that cuts down on the hangover. I'd take jameson morning noon and night.

The song's great. The name's "Whiskey" though, not "Whisky". The diference is if it's spelt with an 'e' then it's Irish. If not, it's Scotch. Love the Dubliners though!

@wisard734 Actually no. Whisky either spelling is whisky. Irish is triple distilled. Scotch is once or twice. That is why Irish whiskey tastes better, it is crisp and delicious!

yeah but you have to love a rocked up version also. yes this is the true version but dont forget the lizzy version. the dubliner's are pure class for sure. luke kelly was my favourite.
