  • @Themegamak95 The song that plays right before she leaves to "powder her nose" and during the scene when they are suffering a first date "what-the-hell-do-we-talk-about-now" moment (and in this case it's the dead time after you've ordered the food and you are desperately tying to come up with something to say), anywhosits, the song you're asking about is called "Rumble" by Link Wray.

  • @Pasalacqua12 So? dont be so harsh on urself matE?

  • @heloooooooooeeo I'm always like that. I guess I am kind of hard on myself :(

  • It's funny because you would never expect a badass hitman being dragged into a dance contest XD

  • I was challenged to duplicate Travolta's moves here once at a New Year's Eve party. All went well until I tried the "on tiptoes" bit. Wound up hitting the hardwood floor with a thud. Perhaps had I been sober....

  • one of the best movies ever made, really I mean the screenplay is flawless, the actors are great, it has a good soundtrack, and every story is awesome.

  • Best dance-scene of the 90s

  • j travs. still got the groove!!!

  • best crime film ever. hands down (with goodfellas)

  • amo esa canción!

  • hahahaha :D

  • probably the best film ever

  • Don't be a rectangle.

  • Uma's got "big feet"? What the hell is wrong with you imbeciles? The woman is six feet worth of gorgeous...you expect her to wear size twos?

Besides, this is hands down the coolest date in movie history. Thurman and Travolta could be on cross-country skis for all I care...

  • @morgaffi Uma has feet?!?! LOL She is drop dead gorgous. Who ever thinks she has big feet needs to go look up the bikini scene from Be Cool. Her feet are the last thing you notice about the woman. FYI: another film where these two dance together. Another great film for her that is not as well known is Gattaca. Her film star beauty just heats up the scenes.

  • I love you, honey bunny.

  • @Loosetear I love you, pumpkin.

  • @morgaffi Is she really that tall, I never would've guessed.

  • @morgaffi she's as tall as I am. I'm getting complex. :<

  • @morgaffi It's not a date... It's definitely not a date ;)

  • Awesome,Uma Karuna is so

    cute.good dance haha.

  • wow uma thurman sure did pack some big feet, i think they're a 10!

  • Yeah, no kidding. I'm Surprised she didn't take out Travolta those monstrosities!

  • @WeaselHalfbreed What do you mean ? Whos the monstrosity ?

  • @RyanLies Mia Wallace is packing some serious feet and she practically took out Vincent Vega on the dancefloow with those monstrosities! (her feet, yo)

  • @WeaselHalfbreed haha ok thx xD

  • i love this cinema and song too :D

  • awesome :)

  • Cracking tune and some lovely dancing. Uma you are the Queen, the sexiest Queen on film. Love you.

  • great film

  • She got biggus feets!

  • NAFTA's power over US critics is so corrupt.

Scott of NY Times calls Amores Perros a breakthrough film, knowing full well that Tarantino was the first masterful teller and editor of 3 stories in 1 here, in 1994, while AP was in 2000.

shitting on your compatriot artists is how you keep a job in publishing in the new world order.

  • That's chauvinistic bull****, nationality of the artist isn't valid criteria for recognizing or "shitting" on his work, and besides, NAFTA started just in 1994, so it would've had too little time to start its "corrupt power" over the US critics, which, in turn, would have to be mindless. I think you underestimate them and overestimate the importance of nationality.

  • What ? where did you get it,? Dont buy any more of it bud,, It`s fucked your head,,

In fact,, dont even smoke anymore,,

  • Travolta is one smooth cunt, fair play

  • desde la primera vez que la vi, me dije a mi mismo esta sera una escena clasica, un legado del septimo arte para el mundo

  • dude, your on crack, resevior dogs, deathproof, jackei brown, inglorous basterds, all classics.

  • Gotta agree with ecwisgreat, I'm not the biggest Tarantino fan, but as a filmmaker (as I have been for 5 years) and a film buff in general, I can vouch that first off, Inglourious Basterds was substantially great, Reservoir Dogs had more than "a couple of good moments", infact in my opinion it's his best film, Death Proof was enjoyable, and Jackie Brown is still good to watch.

  • Comment removed

  • love it....

  • one of the best dance scene ever

  • i've been trying to figure it out, but i think i like the Mr.Blonde stuck in the middle with you dance scene just a little bit more.

  • @xdkwallen742 from reservoir dogs...i've seen it and i think you're right..soooo sick :D

  • travolta hasalways known how to dance!!! classic scene from a classic movie!

  • Woah Jackie Brown is not better than Pulp Fiction , Jackie brown is okay kinda slow but Pulp Fiction deserves every compliment ! The screenplay is just phenomenal

  • @Mactank62 100% sign

  • @Mactank62 as good as jackie brown was... pulp fiction takes the cake for sure.

  • I also prefer "Jackie Brown", but "Pulp Fiction" is a very good film as well and this scene is a classic.

  • It's not overrated. Just because a film exceeds the limit of art, it doesn't become overrated. In fact, people who call this film "overrated" have actually made it very overlooked.

  • Great scene from the greatest movie ever. But there are so many great scenes in that movie.

  • Vic Vega is better than Vince

  • The only problem with this scene is that its not long enough... please sir I want some more

  • 1:15 .. le patatine uè ahahaha

  • mine toooo

  • This is one of my favorite scenes in cinema history!

  • HOW f%%%%ing cool is this scene?

  • very very very very cool

  • scusate sapreste dirmi il titolo di questo film?

  • pulp fiction di quentin tarantino

  • Ya really think so? It's a Chuck Berry classic, but Chuck has so many better know songs I think ths one is somhow buried in the heap.

*Every* band, no batter how big they get, covers Chuck. Try...the Beatles, early on; the Rolling Stones tll this day, play several as part of their standard, brief show; Springsteen, although with 300 great songs to choose from, it's quite rare. A great YouTube video is Bruce and his band backing Chuck on Johnny B Good, at the opening of the R & R HoF.

  • In my opinion this is one of if not THE top dance scene in movie history.

If I am wrong you must agree at least that this dance scene is a classic.

  • the dance scene from house party hahaha

  • in complete agreement, but i would argue top movie scenes period.

  • i don't think there is anything special, just some classic dance moves. great movie though and great performance by these actors.

  • Sure it is!

Just about every scene in this movie is a classic. A lot of uniqueness to the way the story unfolds .. and what about Christopher Walken's?.

No my friend. I can bet a lot on this post will disagree with you.

Its a memorable dance scene and that's what makes it special.

  • That explians a lot.

Next time don't drink or get high before seeing a movie.

  • You've got to be a douche to not remember this classic film....

  • Not that great?Give me at least 3 dance scenes that are better than this iconic scene...

  • This is an old can of worms between my brother and I from the days of VHS, but can anyone with a dvd of this movie tell me if mia says "vincent vega" or "vincent, thank you" when she in introducing them? He insists that she says "Vega" but its totally "thank you", like a mumbling Elvis thing. I'm sure someone out there can give me a pretty thorough answer on this.

  • Sorry Bub, Your brother is right. I just saw this movie again yesterday with "captions" She said Vincent "Vega".

  • Its Vincent Vega

  • she says vincent vega

  • She says Vincent Vega. There you go.

  • its vincent vega :) sorry :P she simply says, Vincent Vega :))

  • music starts at 1:13

  • music at 1:00 minute in.

  • like this scene

  • They are dancing like their highs if you watch: Mia's all jumpy, doing the cocaine dance, Vincent's smooth, doing the heroin dance

  • Excellent, never thought about it like that before.

  • I know both well.

  • Amo a Tarantino

  • Quentin Tarantino !

  • muitomuitobommm!
