  • WHen you wake up and can't move, just open your mouth and breathe... you'll thank me later.

  • Goblin Scared The Shit Out of me

  • If i got a sleep paralysis how do i turn it to astral projection.. Anyone knows ??

  • I would recommend the video series "Sleep Paralysis: Answers 1-5". Just be sure to watch all parts.

  • You can give information without making the video scary. Sleep paralysis is a terrifying experience indeed. However, once you research about it and understand a little bit more about this, it's not that scary to experience anymore... just a bit uncomfortable.

  • i just recently had it about an hour ago. mine was weird! it started out as a dream where is was night time and my mom and i were walking this drunk man back to his house, then we both seen this big black dog. my mom yelled, "RUN!" and it came running straight near us. i told my mom just stay still. When the dog approached me, that's when i fell into sleep paralysis. i could only see my room. and my laptop. i heard creepy violin sounds, and every time i breath i could feel something on top of me

  • everything is accurate except the blood on the wall and that little monster

  • @IDV84 Actually throughout the centuries many people experienced that little monster thing on their chest, it's known as "The Old Hag Syndrome". If you google SP im sure the old hag thing will be one of the first things to pop up

  • @elementsk8er506 Oh yeah? wow, ive had scarier things happen to me than this, like getting pulled by demons, somebody crawling in my bed behind me, and getting bit on the neck by a dog and not be able to move, scary stuff

  • Comment removed

  • @ulep098 I don't see how it would be fun, the hypnopompic hallucinations are fear induced. Many people consider SP as one of the most terrifying experiences of their lives.

  • I've experienced this 5 times this month. Very accurate indeed.

  • This used to happen to me alot, it still does rarely and it all started after a car wreck....

And yeah his video is accurate.

My parents used to think I was making it up but after I made them read about it they were more open to it...

    God it's so freaky (•.•)

  • Weird

  • hey sleep paralysis is not a rare disorder it happens to everybody in the world everytime you go to sleep some people just happen to wake up before their sleep paralysis is gone

  • Im going through this crazy shit now & at first it scared the shit outta me ..i thought I was being possesd by demons or being touchd by big black shadow men making alot of weird sounds...but when I could move again everything go away so I learned to just look at them as a regular dream and now it happens less...its fuking scary tho..i told my bf n he thinks im crazy smh..but dont think it cant happen to you..

  • ...Lucid Dreaming is Better!

You can do lots of things that aren't normal in the reality!

You can't do anything in OBE...Just float out of your body and stay like that...

  • Did u noticed this vid hasn't got the 57th sic ?

  • Last night I suffered a series of hipnogógic hallucinations. It's not the first time it happens to me.

  • Lol I've had sleep paralysis for 8 years I am now 22. My very first experience, I heard screaming voices and would see shadow figures. The first few months it creeped me out but got use to it.

After a year the voices and shadow figures stopped, I would only get sleep paralysis where I could just open my eyes and look around.

I am able to move my fingers and toes and I've learned how to get out of it. Back then I would get sleep paralysis 3-4 times a week, now I would only get it once every fe

  • great!!!

  • Hell yeah! Great video! This is exactly what sleep paralysis feels like. I don't see the little monsters, but I know a lot of people do. I'd love to see a longer version of this video, like one where you're moving your astral arms around and trying to pull yourself out of your body. That happens to me all the time. I'm nearly convinced now that when our Sun is very active that my condition gets worse. We're going into the Solar Maximum now (till 2013) so a lot of people will be freaking out.

  • It is real and demonic...it happened to be 5 times and the only way to beat it was to say in the name of Jesus leave. People who are not even christians can also get it to leave in the name of Jesus. I am not a bible thumper but what i am saying is true. Before my attacks there was knocking, scratching, my door slammed open & my hair was pulled. I know some will make fun of what I am saying but it is very true. It's demonic. If not then why the evil presence in different forms all over the world

  • People who are saying this is inaccurate are wrong. I've experienced sleep paralyis and this is pretty close. Mine lasted about 3 minutes and I heard random people talking then a creepy alien dog thing and the room just started shrinking. Then I woke up an my legs and arms where all tingly like when they "fall asleep"z

  • That creature that it showed in the sleep paralysis part scared the crap outa me.

  • You suck!! This is

    A: inaccurate

    B: freaky

I am trying to fall asleep and am interested in lucid dreaming and the risks(such as paralysis which causes you to panic). Especially with headphones on, this video becomes unnerving and paranoia inducing. I won't be able to sleep now, which I need after a 6 day workweek . The special effects are nice in the video, but next time do your research, and explore the actual implications instead of shooting for freaky paranormal appeal.

  • @benwashere202 Ben sorry to scare you ha..if u read in my info for the video I did it for class and over exagerrated stuff for appeal..but many of the things in it are true tho, such as waking up unable 2 move, n just roll around your eyes, the white noise sound,& many people experience seeing a little gremlin dude on top of them lol. Look it up on google type in old hag syndrome its been going on for centuries. Lucid dreamings diff, u have never experienced sp like us, check out the 100 comments

  • @elementsk8er506 Umm,I have to admit..I was shaking when I saw the creatures..Nice Effects BTW..Uhh,Freaky..I had OBE and Nothing like this happened..

  • @benwashere202 Well,I do Lucid Dreaming and:

1.Sleep Paralysis is NOT freaky unless you are scared of it

2.Causes of panic happen because some ppl don't know how to do it!

Or,they use advices from books, which are Fake and Dumb, could be painful!

So If you wanna do LD or OBE you better watch the 12 videos of "How to have LD and OBE" from Lucidology 101 and 102!

    And...OBE IS FUN!

  • Not sure if this is sleep paralysis or not, but often when I have high fever I "wake up" only to find myself unable to move my limbs. I just lie there like a veggie and see strange things like walls closing in and out, speed going faster and sometimes slower, liquidifing objects + I can hear my family completely fine. I can hear what they say and ask if I'm okay so I'm clearly awake during those phases. Few times I've managed to snap out of it, got up and walk around while everythings too fast..

  • HOLY FUCK the thing at 00:24

  • I remember having a sleep paralysis one or three times when i was a kid below the age of 10. I never opened my eyes, mostly because i couldn't. I only heard noises, sometimes speaking. Yelling or calm talk. The funny thing is i was never scared and found out it was called sleep paralysis many years after. Haven't experienced it in years.

  • Havent seen any scary shit, just feels like an earthquake, usualy i stick my arm off my bed to the ground immediately. It lasts 3-4 seconds or so,and sometimes when im aware,i just fall into a lucid dream and fly around ^_^

  • hm....yeah, that's kinda how my hypnagogic hallucinations look like...though I've never seen my bed on fire, I have seen my reflection moving in the mirror and thought other people were with me in the room.

  • @LongFingered yah I just thought other people where in the room. I didnt see anyone but I thought I feelt someone.

  • Sleep paralysis is not a sleeping disorder, I experienced it once some years ago, but I didn't see any ghostly figures or demonic creatures.

After a year of studying spirituality I found out many things, but I found out that sleep paralysis is the first stage of astral projection, the body needs to be perfectly still so that the etheric body can separate from the physical body and most people also experience body vibrations during paralysis.

  • I had one, just sleep paralysis and felt like o was on my back but I knew I was on my side, I just stayed calm knew exactly what was happening and changed my breathing pattern to longer deeper breaths, my body heated up and my head felt like I was sniffing poppers, I then woke up amazed and then fell back to sleep after it had sunk in. I did however feel extra tired in the morning. Awesome tho

  • Im personally afriad of these typs of dreams or what ever they are. You see I have personal demon that haunts me and hes worse in my dreams. Hes done horrible things to me and others in them. You watch yourself kill your family or watch yourself get murdered in your dreams? It sucks and I hate it. Its gotten to be the norm for me. I'd hate to have obe and that bastard be waiting to stab my face again. Or worse take over my body. Don't know if hes real or not or if im just messed up but it sucks.

  • @JCCsProduction i used to have sleep paralysis and what seemed like demon attacks.

what helped me to prevent it is keeping lots of bottled water in my bedroom.

ever since i keep water near my bed it never happened again.

i don't know why but that's what helped me.

  • @CIarKent

That's interesting you mention the bottled water, because I've read and seen a video on youtube which gives different ways to protect you from malicious or demonic entities from harming you, they are attracted to clear water for some reason I don't know why but I will find out.

  • I had hundreds of sleep paralysis in my life time, but the only allusination that was real, was one day that I was paralysed, I tried to open my eyes, it's always very painful to do that, you get tired really fast, eyes feel very heavy, but I managed to open my eyes, and a saw a shadow of a small devil dancing, and most of the times they are allusinations, but this time it wans't, when I finally woke up, I still saw the shadow, it was a shadow of a tree but it looked exactly like a little devil

  • Comment removed

  • haha Ive had the whole sleep paralysis and the Hallucinations it was really scary the first time cause i had no idea what was going on now i get it at least once a month scariest was when i saw just like a shadow of a dude walking on my ceiling lol but i quickly fell back to sleep not really caring until the morning when i awoke and was creeped out also suddenly waking up from a scream during the sleep paralysis is the worse waking up sweaty as hell..

  • IDK what that guy is talking about, I have never had a fun sleep paralysis episode.

  • My OBE was similar but I woke up floating in my room and when I became consciously aware of it, I slowly started drifting back into my body.

But another idea is I felt there was something that was picking me up to drop me on my head and I woke up during it and it stop and sat me down. ( I really hope this is not the reason)

I don't think science has ISP figured out as I get it often dirfting off to sleep and waking up. Science just doesn;t explain my experiences and situation.

  • @Sixstrings81 It's caused by fear creating hallucinations in the mind. However, you are conscious, but barely. Your brain is recovering from an unexpected ending to the dream, where your brain was thinking illogically, sorting out memories, etc. You are paralyzed due to a message your brain sends while dreaming in order to prevent you from actually acting out your dreams. The intense fear caused by being unable to move, mixed with the irrational brain waves causes the symptoms.

  • @wkunzelman1

Yeah, I already know the medical and what science says about it thanks.

  • I just had it tonight for the first time I didn't see thugs like people or hear anything it was just me in my dream but when I tried to wake up i couldn't move I did research and basically it's cause by you waking up before your brain and u are paralyzed when you sleep normally and the things you see are caused by fear if you aren't scared u won't see anything

  • For me is like this. Without the hallucinations.

  • This is pretty cool, do you still hallucinate if you go into sleep paralysis on purpose without falling asleep?

  • I strangly want to go through this experience..

  • @charliesamways no u dont trust me........

  • @StJermaineful I just want to know what its like

  • @charliesamways It will scare the living fuck out of you but you'll get addicted and want more from the thrill... Its a strange little disorder lol

  • anyone who doesnt believe this is an idiot it has happened to me friends and family... you freeze up and go to hell for 10 seconds or more

  • god i dont want this to even happen to me again... had it last night and my girlfriend was laying right next to me i was screaming her name but my mouth would not open and no words would come out i tried to kick her leg but i couldnt move a muscle.. i thought i was dying then my eyes just dropped

  • I have sleep paralysis on average twice a week! It's not scary anymore but it's annoying, just disrupts your wonderful sleep time! I realized that when i slept on my chest, face turned sidewards, I didn't get SP attacks! Coz usually my SP attacks are triggered by a sense of "loss of balance" sorta thing! Like i want to tilt forward but then i start getting dragged backwards and BOOM IT"S SP!!!!

  • man when i fall asleep and i fell that im awoke i cant move cant talk for like 10 seconds sometime even minutes then if fell that my eyes colse again ang i awake then i jump and i can move again plese tell me this is not sleep paralysis im only 14

  • @kayle600 yeah it is sleep paralysis. and btw I'm 14 too and I get this like once or twice a year since I was about 7 :) I don't find it scary anymore. I just sit there and wait until I can move again and ignore all the scary shit happening in front of me lol

  • @MrMsprancer lol ill just sit there like when can i move i have to go take a wizz den i fall bak asleep nd wake up nd i cud move again

  • -i'm 17

-i can actually make feel SP whenever a like

-i can move my body during SP but see nothing and hear creepy sounds or

-i can move my body and see the creatures but hear no sound (i actually push the thing of me and his/her/it's face was full of shock...that made me laugh)

-one time i tried to communicate with the creatures by thinking of a girl a like and then i can't move and hear a girls voice screaming no again and again(hahah)

-can somebody tell what's going on ^^

  • @zapatos101 sounds like a different kind of OBE/astral projection. People who experience what you're describing say that they separate their spirit from their body and enter the plane where dreams take place--only it's objective, instead of subjective, so it's not a dream. They describe creatures in this plane.

  • Thank you for posting the video. It is far too difficult to even begin to explain to others what it is like. So even though you cannot convey the fear involved, it is fantastic to have something close! Im too terrified to sleep. I'm so tired of this, I'd give anything to never have it again. Sleep is inevitable unfortunately.

  • um....to all the people out there who are like "hey man relax, they arnt real" have never experienced this before. what really happens is far more eerie and terrifying than anything that can be re created with computers. while this is the best rendition of what i have encountered, it is still not quite what i saw.

  • It happen to me all the time. Started when I was 14. Sleeping on the sofa, dark figure walking slow out of the darkness of the kitchen. Wake up 3 or 4 times. Probably go to the bathroom. Blink your eye, and you open your eyes only to realize you are back in bed. Then that feeling looking at bedroom door....some one or something is coming. And you can only watch hopelessly, or close your eyes(which is the best option if you are scared). When u close ur eyes it goes from dat paranoia feel into a

  • I'm really trying to have an OBE and I'm trying to use BINAURAL BEATS so do they work??? And if I use Binaural Beats will I experience Hypnogogic hallucinations, will I experience them and are they really that terrifying???

  • i have this regularly and it scares the life out of me. i have all different forms of it too. most often i have it where i cant open my eyes even though my brain is awake, and i fight and fight and use all my strength to try to open my eyes, and i still cant. people who say that it isnt scary probably dont have the hypnogogic hallucinations either, because those are scary shit. you really have to have experienced it to know what it feels like.

  • OBE are bull.

  • @ChaosBW they are very real bro..youll see eventually

  • how do you get sleep paralysis?

  • holy shit, can it really be that bad,cuz that actually scared me abit..

  • @MrPandawesome I had sleep paralysis once when I was 10-12 years old. I was paralyzed and I hallucinated there was an unbelievably freakish, death like sharp toothed figure stumbling closer to me. All I could do was stare as it came closer to my face until I woke up about a minute later.

It actually wasn't that scary if I remember. Your brain is in a very different state during REM.

  • whenever i have SP im always freaked out , i would like to OBE but i dont know how , can anyone help ?

  • Last week I woke up into another dream 4 times in a row. Everything felt normal when I woke up, but there would be one thing out of wack. I would feel like i was awake, yet i would look out the window and it would be the driveway of our cottage. super freaky shit.

  • This always happens when im on my stomach. its never happened to me on my back. but then i rarely sleep on my back. there is a guy on here that made the sound almost perfect. search for 'sound of sleep paralysis' or somethin

  • Dont sleep on your back lol, I usually get paralyzed when I sleep on my back.

  • @slymcflycalibear ive seemed to only get paralysed if sleeping on back. never have any other sleeping position

  • even if you keep your eyes closed, you still hear growling and/or feel things..

at least it does for me.

  • This doesnt seem all that scary tbh. If you ever go through SP, keep your eyes closed shut or just sleep with blindfolds

  • @JukemDrawles89 shut up idiot... your body freezes up and your see monsters and your fucking ghost flys around the house.. obviously its never happened to you.

  • @xraidedlok Dude I kno, I've had it b4. I had an experience recently and this very deep voice spoke to me. He said 'Behold, I am your father' and as he said that I felt this powerful feeling of love travel through my body. Just thinking about my experience brings tears to my eyes. This happened to me about 2 days ago. Also if you do some research on this subject youll see that ppl sometimes leave their bodies in spiritual form during an episode. Study Near death experiences and compare it to SP

  • @xraidedlok there is obviously a conection to the spiritual realm

  • I'll never forget the day I finally had the courage to tell my doctor that I would be frozen, unable to move - seeing strange little dark creatures at night staring at me from the foot of my bed just before falling asleep. I was so afraid he would think I had totally lost my mind - but he knew exactly what it was and although I still suffer with this, I feel comfort in knowing it will eventually pass.

  • i tend to laugh at hallucinations during this state

i saw an old mans head looking surprised bobbing up and down at my door...

that broke my paralysis cos it was soo funny :L

they aint always scary hallucinations u no..

  • @Bertee510 the hallucinations are fear induced so i dont see how thats physically possible..

  • @elementsk8er506 no you hallucinate in this state as you are still in a slight dream state.. ive hallucinated that i was in completely different scenes not my bedroom

  • @elementsk8er506 thats because the hallucinations aren't hallucinations they are real astral imagery aswell as entities.

  • @Rocky1990 haha that's not logical

  • They are not fear induced, you can have sleep paralysis and feel other things such as bliss.

I've had sleep paralysis every night of my life :)

  • @Bertee510 i agree with u all sleep paralysis is not scary

  • @Bertee510 fully understand. Had some hallucinations were I've been terrified to death, afraid to go back to sleep incase it happens again and others where ive come out of it going ''Holy shit that was awesome! Let's go again!''

  • great video of the incidence. so much can happen during these states. i am currently in study of this seeing as how it has just recently happened to me two times in the past year. i know it is ussually most common in children but i am twenty years old! but the more i search up and the more i remember i can relate this to many occurances in my past.

    thank you

  • god job i like this ..it would happen to me and i would hear the same thing but im use to it now ...i like having these obes u can travel around

  • i like to face the wall when i sleep so i dont see much :S if i wake

  • that happend to me

    im scared to death!!

  • dayum haha bad trip projection

  • The sound heard during the phenomenon is slightly different - it's resemblant of either the sound made by the old computers when they loaded data from casettes (yes, I'm old enough to remember these) or - once you're through the intermediate stage and in the visionary state - the rhythmic pounding of a great machine.

  • @alekmosingiewicz yea, its hard to replicate it so i just mixed some stuff together with what i had

  • @elementsk8er506 it like wind or a tornado in your room

  • i've had 'old hag syndrom' for like three years. UCH. sucks everytime! Good video! :D I never float though :(

  • @direngrey150 sucks i u are uninformed. the things u see are just hallucinations from ur subconcious. relax.. laugh at teh hallucinations and imainge urself floating up and u will be out of body and the hallucinations wont be there :). i enjoy it when i get it.. i love the hallucinations :D

  • @fedenz yeah i cant do that.

its different for everyone i guess~

  • 0:25 bit scared me D: But good video

  • You can do a film with this =D 00:25, the myster of the incubus =p

  • 00:25 O___O it's him!!! THE INCUBUS =O

  • good Job.... gooooodddd joooobbbb

  • Sleep paralysis in this vid i just like how i rememberd it. never reached OBE though

  • @Danpser

I've had the OBE. It's terrifying everytime too, lol. I've even had an experience where I felt like I was falling really fast through the floor.

  • something similar happened to me yesterday, this time i could control it, very cool experience

  • normally, when i have am in this, when i enter my dream, all the stuff i saw was in it

  • i ve seen a big fire in my room when i was sleep paralysed then i wake up and the fire dissapeared!!

  • Great rendition of what SP like. And thank you for not blaming SP on "aliens".

  • @MorpheusBride

Yeah, I think we know where those alien abduction stories come from, lol. When I first had sleep paralysis, I thought I was experiencing something supernatural, or 'paranormal,' too, because I had never heard of SP. It is pretty freaky when you experience it for the first time, because the hypnagogic hallucinations seem real.

  • I have that Hypnagogic Halluciantions..They're never fun.

  • @princesschanel I don't thats why I keep my eyes closed and its less freaky.

  • This happens to me like anywhere between 1 and 7 times a week. I had my first OBE the other night ^_^. It was the most amazing thing I've ever experienced...

And great simulation! It's very similar to what really happens!

  • nice video!

  • thanks

  • the thing at 0:25 is creepy lol

  • thats awesome!

  • Great video!!

  • very cool
