I'm just having one little problem..

The game works perfectly fine UNTIL I go to Iwatodai station :|

I'm not sure wtf the problem is, anywhere is fine but the moment I go to Iwatodai station, the game just crashes and pscx stops responding..Could you help me plzzzzzzzzzzz?

I'm thinking it might be the game version but I'm not sure about that, happens with other games as well in a few specific parts of the game..

@JackKuirser If you are using latest version then it might be the cause of crashes. Pile of hacks and hackfixes.

Try out Pcsx2-r2661(download link in video description). Old, but fast and sturdy.

Strange but works for me..But then I had another problem, it crashes right before the first full moon night and this time, I can't really find another route for it xD

But anyway, I already tried r2661, game speed is too fast with it..And if I remember correctly, it still crashed at the same points..

@JackKuirser Happened to me many times. The solution is to simply check the native resolution box in the graphic configuration screen. Problem fixed.

Aw shit dude, your configs solved my problem that the First Tartarus boss had 15 FPS. Changing the Diret3D9 to Direct3D11 and using your Speed hack config gave it full speed 60FPS plus better grafics due to the 1400 and 1050 resolutions. THANKS MAN!

Im playing p3 fes, the journey, and i get the game to run PERFECTLY

but, when i got to the chariot guardian, my FPS drops to like 15, and the battle is VERY slow. I have no idea why, or what i should do, ive tried to limit the fps and stuff, but, its still drops to 15. Some PLEASE help.

I've been playing the undubbed version on PCSX2 so I've never heard the english voices until now but man, Fuuka's voice is AWFUL! Seriously if I had to hear the actress's cheesy delivery of "you've found the enemy's weakness!" every time I knocked something down I'd have to stop playing. <3 the undub version

@JakeStone995 Emm, it's one of the configuration options what appears after you launch emulator. System(Boot in 2661 version) / CDVD / Config / Misc. If you can't see them(or one of them), update to r2661(check video description) or newer emu version(check my latest videos).

I'm using your settings for the game with a framecap. It runs at 57-60 fps, but the graphics are messed up. there are weird strings and boxes ruining the textures. I'll uncheck every single thing until I figure out which option is messing up the graphics.

Tried to play P4 on single I5-750 4Ghz core (faster than 2 Q8300 2.5Ghz cores) and underclocked HD4770 (500/1700)... Overclocking back to 940/4800 gave ~50% fps boots.

8500GT far more slower than underclocked HD4770... Your cpu may become limiting factor, so expect similar boots. maybe more.

Seems like you're using a laptop.I wouldn't expect games to be emulated well on it since the mobile CPU's (and laptop configurations overall) are slower than desktop CPU's.2,26ghz is also pretty low for emulation of this category.Anything starting from 2,4ghz is good for pcsx2.Especially the line between 3ghz-4ghz.But even on a Intel E4600 i've had choppy/slow sound in certain games.First at 3ghz it stopped messing up.Hope this helped a little.

P.S PCSX2 supports up 2 cores, so quad core doesn't have any advantages over dual core.

Anyway, try these (0.9.6 emu version):

Config -> Cpu -> Tick all options on the left, select limit.

Config -> Speedhacks -> Use 2x cycle rate, Tick 1,2 options on the right.

Config -> Advanced -> Select - Chop/zero, none, flush to zero, denormals are zero.

Config -> Configure -> Graphics (GSdx) -> Configure -> lower D3D internal res.

One question, i'm using all your settings on my pcsx2 0.9.5 but i can't seem to get this to work (i couldn't use the speedhacks because i didn't know what you mean and my speedhack list is comprised of only 3 possible choices). i got it to work once without speedhacks but ingame it was all slow (30 - 32 fps) and the hair and clothes textures was all messed up. I actually finished the game. It runs slower than P3 (~40 (crowded areas) - 5xx fps (status screen, lol)), graphic gliches here and there, sound is perfect.
