i was in a choir for a short period of time. it was a great experience being around a lot of gifted voices but i also realized i had a difficult time hearing my own voice.

i'm working on bringing more power to my singing so that i don't have to be reliant on a mic. if i had to do again, i'd enjoy jumping in because i'm much more ready now than i was back then. :)

heres a trick in choir looks stupid but works to see if your in the right key and notes in choir hold both your hands upwards near your ears right by them it acts as a radar for your voice then you only hear yourself. good luck had to do this a lot to hear myself.

the second one was "Butterflies" written by Floetry and performed by Michael Jackson.

now there's a fact i didn't know...that Floetry wrote this number for him. wow! it makes perfect sense when i rethink the song over. it does have their vibe written all over it. they must've been so excited to know they're song made the album cut since MJ usually will have anywhere between 40 - 50 songs to choose from before deciding what goes on an album.
