Why are we still in Korea? Why are we in any country? No other country has a military base in America. Why do want the American deaths to just "go down" and not go to zero? Three State Solution sounds nice, though.

Over a thousand? That's NOTHING! Those numbers are puny compared to other wars. We've done an excellent job of keeping our casualties minimal. And each member of the armed forces I have talked to says we need to keep doing what we're doing. Don't back down from the fight because your scared to pay the price. Blood is what keeps this country free.

We know its near 4000 troops we've lost so far. We do not know how many "terrorist" we have killed? How about civilians?. This is blood land we Americans live on but ppl seem to forget that War in this century IS pernicious. Your crazy skylarkjv and your reasoning is barbaric. Yet you wonder why someone hates the way you live.

The US "numbers" will never go down as long as they keep increasing the "Numbers" in Iraq. You do realize that when watching the news, I see both sides bombing innocent people. I am only seeing terrorism.

You would do good to notice that he is not advocating sending more troops to Iraq. He actually says that he wants to pull our troops away from the front lines. That does not sound like a troop surge to me.
