The cougar in the commercials is actually Chauncey. Its in her book "The Lady and her Lion". Everyone should read it, its fantastic.

@yosambam I read that book years ago and blessings all around for the good that Pat Derby and her folk have done for animal welfare.

@yosambam, Chauncey was indeed the classic and the original and , but IIRC (it's been awhile since I read the book), he was succeeded by Christopher.

They do not come better than Pat. She and Ed Stewart have the Performing Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) in San Andreas, CA which allows abused performing animals have a comforting life they deserve.

Nice video to educate the public about animals wild animals like the cougar are not savages and need to be killed...there are wild and should be respected to avoid conflict...

Um, it's not a Puma, dumbass. And Pat Derby rescues captive wildlife from the cruel entertainment industry. She's a wonderful human being.

Educate yourself on what this woman does for these animals. Why would you hope that the puma bites her hand off? You might agree with what she does for these animals.
