@prboy2500 actually the angle of the grip ergonomically keeps the wrist tight. because Glocks have been known to Jam when fired limp wristed. My G26 will jam when fired limp wrist. But I do agree with you. Glocks were designed to be user friendly, quickly deployed, and safely carried with a round on the chamber. Glocks set the standard for all other handguns. Simple, reliable, Durable.

@24Rorschach 1911's are nice looking guns and, yes, they do work...They just don't work for me. Double action hammer pistols with safeties that hold 8-9 rounds don't appeal to me at all. A light weight, polymer framed, striker fired, high capacity pistol with a match grade polygonal barrel....mmmmmmm! Did I mention that my G23 has NEVER malfunctioned? I like a lot of guns, but I love Glocks:-)

Heh, I agree. However, I am extremely disappointed with the limp wrist problem. If your hand or arm gets injured, or you are just to exhausted to control the recoil, you are a dead man. The thing can barely fire 2-3 shots without jamming if used with a limp wrist!

I love this, the 92FS was very jammy obviously, that Glock is sure a great firearm, got a Glock 17C, and a 92FS, and I just keep the 92FS because it just looks better, thats it. Just like I shoot my AR, but when the time would come, the AK is my #1 gun.
AK is only accurate up to 200yds. You could shoot you AR accurately up to 600yds. It wouldnt kill its target at that range but it will hit it. And after that at 700yds you may only miss your target by an inch or two. the AK also travels nearly half the speed of the 5.56
To tell you the truth, I don't trust either of them, I am a M14 guy, but the M14 and a AK47 would be great combination. Also the AK was designed for that purpose, to hit at 200 yards or less. If you ever have been in urban combat, 200 yards is all the accuracy you need. But as I said, after the AK cannot reach, I would break out the M1A.
Wrong Mr. I could not help it, I had to reply. FYI AR/M4 are not rifles. Therefore the best you can do with them is about 400 yards, after that the grouping spreads significantly. They are carbines. An M16A4 which is a full rifle and fires the same round will be accurate at around 550 yards more or less, after that you better be a good shot with plenty of experience.
Ok your right about the carbine part to be technical but carbines are accurate up to 600. Rifle ar's (20in barrels) are accurate up to 700-800 if they werent there would be no 800m aperture and a 600 on the carbines.
@ObviouslyBoredKid dude, there is a 1,000 yard setting on my sks, but it ain't reaching 1,00 yards. you post a video showing a carbine accurately reaching 600 yards with iron sights. then i'll believe you. because thats sounds more like fantasy then reality.
@ObviouslyBoredKid true, however most engagements are within 200 yards (usually about 75 yards) also, the 7.62x39 will penetrate things that would be "cover" against a 5.56 round. the AR also requires alot more maintenance.
In Iraq and Afghanistan the average combat engagement range as of right now is 350m. So there were people further away and closer so even at the average range an AK isnt worth shit. Only for hiding in a bunker or house.

My cousins a Force Recon Scout Sniper currently in Afghan. He just said by the end of bootcamp your test WILL be timed. He could not tell me the limit though because of code of secrecy as he called it. So coming from a Marksman, if thats not enough you deserve to tie an extention cord around your neck and dive off your roof.

They call in snipers at 600yd ranges so they have to use m4's and m16's till that distance

Hell yes it will. I have tested it in real life threatening experiences. I have a G23 with a lasermax guide rod laser. The laser and the pistol itself has save my life many times! I carry a G23 with a ITW holster and I keep a G27 in the door pocket of my car. Both pistols have saved my life. Definitely a great choice!
thanks! I considered the G27 but when I got to compare them both at the shop I decided to go with the G23 because it fits my hands and waist perfectly. I liked the G22 as well but it seemed a little too big for CCW. Does the lasermax come in different colors? When the Glock's in the nightstand I would like to have a flashlight on the rail and either a guide rod laser or a grip laser and I havent decided which yet but thats my future (hopeful) set up!
The lasermax comes in red. I like it much better than the crimson trace, but that's just me. It might be different for you. But if you get the lasermax you can still have a light on the rail. And the lasermax is turned on and off by a switch. It does not automatically come on when you grip the gun like a crimson trace does.
Do not shoot a gun underwater unless you want to get hurt. Water does not compress, and its basically like the bullet hitting a brick wall, but INSIDE the barrel.
@MKeyserSoze - Glocks fire just fine under water. It is longer guns that KB underwater because the water just can't get out of the way of the bullet fast enough. Most pistols can shove the water out of the barrel before the pressure builds too much.
no, neither the 30 or 21 are "supposed" to be able to. They don't make underwater "springs", but they do make underwater "maritime spring cups" developed by Glock for the 9mm models ONLY, (17,19,26) but underwater firing is not really something I would try, with or without those spring cups.

K like the vids he puts out but it seemed as if when he did the Beretta he got it much dirtier. Plus he threw the Beretta in there. It seems as if in this one he just dipped the glock in water

I love this, the 92FS was very jammy obviously, that Glock is sure a great firearm, got a Glock 17C, and a 92FS, and I just keep the 92FS because it just looks better, thats it. Just like I shoot my AR, but when the time would come, the AK is my #1 gun.

AK is only accurate up to 200yds. You could shoot you AR accurately up to 600yds. It wouldnt kill its target at that range but it will hit it. And after that at 700yds you may only miss your target by an inch or two. the AK also travels nearly half the speed of the 5.56

To tell you the truth, I don't trust either of them, I am a M14 guy, but the M14 and a AK47 would be great combination. Also the AK was designed for that purpose, to hit at 200 yards or less. If you ever have been in urban combat, 200 yards is all the accuracy you need. But as I said, after the AK cannot reach, I would break out the M1A.

Wrong Mr. I could not help it, I had to reply. FYI AR/M4 are not rifles. Therefore the best you can do with them is about 400 yards, after that the grouping spreads significantly. They are carbines. An M16A4 which is a full rifle and fires the same round will be accurate at around 550 yards more or less, after that you better be a good shot with plenty of experience.

Ok your right about the carbine part to be technical but carbines are accurate up to 600. Rifle ar's (20in barrels) are accurate up to 700-800 if they werent there would be no 800m aperture and a 600 on the carbines.

@ObviouslyBoredKid dude, there is a 1,000 yard setting on my sks, but it ain't reaching 1,00 yards. you post a video showing a carbine accurately reaching 600 yards with iron sights. then i'll believe you. because thats sounds more like fantasy then reality.

@ObviouslyBoredKid true, however most engagements are within 200 yards (usually about 75 yards) also, the 7.62x39 will penetrate things that would be "cover" against a 5.56 round. the AR also requires alot more maintenance.

In Iraq and Afghanistan the average combat engagement range as of right now is 350m. So there were people further away and closer so even at the average range an AK isnt worth shit. Only for hiding in a bunker or house.

My cousins a Force Recon Scout Sniper currently in Afghan. He just said by the end of bootcamp your test WILL be timed. He could not tell me the limit though because of code of secrecy as he called it. So coming from a Marksman, if thats not enough you deserve to tie an extention cord around your neck and dive off your roof.

Dude im not messin around. My dad is on his 18th year USAF my cousin on his side is LCPL Tran USMC. Im joining the Corps. after high school. I dont mess around when it comes to military. My mother did 6 years USAF and was an expert marksman in bootcamp. Im insulted that you dont appreciate the men and women that protect us everyday

@ObviouslyBoredKid now, hold on i never said i didn't respect the troops. my uncle is a desert storm veteran, he was E5 sergant and scored 36/40 which at the time was expert. i implied that, for all i now your the 8 year old girl next door, therefore, i don't except your word as truth. and i really do not think the AR is that accurate at that distance with iron sights and i doubt the average combat range is 350.

i appreciate your uncles service. And yes AR's are accurate and 100% lethal at that distance. Carbines are 100% lethal and 100% accurate at 500yds. Rifle AR's 20in barrels are 100% lethal and 100% deadly at 750yds. And i looked up the average combat distance online as of 2009 its 350yds... They call in snipers at 600yd ranges so they have to use m4's and m16's till that distance

Hell yes it will. I have tested it in real life threatening experiences. I have a G23 with a lasermax guide rod laser. The laser and the pistol itself has save my life many times! I carry a G23 with a ITW holster and I keep a G27 in the door pocket of my car. Both pistols have saved my life. Definitely a great choice!

thanks! I considered the G27 but when I got to compare them both at the shop I decided to go with the G23 because it fits my hands and waist perfectly. I liked the G22 as well but it seemed a little too big for CCW. Does the lasermax come in different colors? When the Glock's in the nightstand I would like to have a flashlight on the rail and either a guide rod laser or a grip laser and I havent decided which yet but thats my future (hopeful) set up!

The lasermax comes in red. I like it much better than the crimson trace, but that's just me. It might be different for you. But if you get the lasermax you can still have a light on the rail. And the lasermax is turned on and off by a switch. It does not automatically come on when you grip the gun like a crimson trace does.

Do not shoot a gun underwater unless you want to get hurt. Water does not compress, and its basically like the bullet hitting a brick wall, but INSIDE the barrel.

@MKeyserSoze - Glocks fire just fine under water. It is longer guns that KB underwater because the water just can't get out of the way of the bullet fast enough. Most pistols can shove the water out of the barrel before the pressure builds too much.

no, neither the 30 or 21 are "supposed" to be able to. They don't make underwater "springs", but they do make underwater "maritime spring cups" developed by Glock for the 9mm models ONLY, (17,19,26) but underwater firing is not really something I would try, with or without those spring cups.
