  • Doesn't Noel Redding almost look like Geddy Lee in this video.

  • I love jimi, BUT DOES ANYBODY EVER NOTICE THE DRUMMER?! MITCH MITCHELL IS AMAZING!!!

  • Noel Redding looks like Geddy Lee with that hair and glasses

  • 'We're being put off the air'... Bloody BBC, I wanted more!!!

  • I just watched the dvd that came with the cd set. This entire session was so awesome.

  • 1:39 The Beatles - I Feel Fine

  • they messed up the end and at the very last second you see jimi drop his head in disappointment

  • 2:15's not Michael Jackson but Geddy Lee

  • the bassist looks like geddy lee

  • @Brandon18valensi Yes he does. But it's not him.. it's Noel Redding who played in Jimi Hendrix band at that time.

  • noel redding's shirt, 'nuff said

  • 1 pessoa toca violino hsuhdushdhshdhsu

Idiota é quem não curte isso.

    Rock N´Roll Forever

  • 3 of the greatest musicians to ever live

  • You Gotta Dig The "I Feel Fine By The Beatles Insert @ 1:38

  • 2:15 Michael Jackson?

  • "true" ,boss of all time....

  • Elvis Costello has cited this as his inspiration for his infamous "Radio Radio" move on SNL.

  • 1:26 "WOOOOOOOOOOOOW"

  • neil looks awesome

  • 3:24 - when jimi finally looks up from the guitar, scrunches his face & shakes his head "no", and you know he's just seen someone behind the scenes telling him to stop... a second or 2 later he says "were being pulled of the air"... classic :)

  • 2:42

  • omg 1:26

  • the tradegy is that they stopped the show instead of realising they were in the presence of godlike genius and just letting the world get something so special

  • mitch mitchell plays like 4 drums at once

  • @voodooblueskid lost in translation, by "pissed" I mean drunk! ya know?, on booze, he wasnt drunk, and i know he hated playing the hits..that is a very well known fact, jimi did this as a tribute to Cream probably because he didnt want to do the duo with lulu, so he dedicated to cream. a nice touch!

  • 1:38 day tripper?

  • @carbonstrike I think it's "I Feel Fine". But it's cool as shit, ain't it?!

  • @210210210210 it sure is, i realised right after posting my comment, but i couldnt bother to rewrite the comment xD

  • FFS! Jimi wasnt pissed! he was stoned.....too many people get their "facts" wrong and new fans read them and think its the truth....Jimi and the boys smoked a joint before they went on stage.

  • @valleysofneptune he was pissed at this time he hated playing the "hit songs" he felt he had to play to keep his crowd. he wanted to make new music not keep playing the same stuff

  • This ain't fair, Jimi Hendrix Experience and Cream coexisting, 6 geniuses at the same time... and we don't have nobody who worths a shit on the last 20 years...

  • Anyone else think Noel looks kinda like Rush bassist/vocalist Geddy Lee?

  • 1:52 - 1:58 "I put down...I shot my lady...I forgot the words...I gotta get outta here as fast as I can." LOL!

  • 0:56 Whole Lotta Love!

    haha

  • Bro im in love with the intro in 0:28 OMG so psycadelic

  • Jimi's the only person who could go on TV and just play covers

  • Jimi was the only musician to sit in with Cream live, probably the only one capable. After the jam an inspired Jack Bruce went home and wrote the Sunshine of Your Love riff. Jimi had all the great British Invasion pickers crying in their ale. Chas Chandler should be knighted or something.

  • 1:35 is an I Feel Fine quote

  • from which song is the riff he plays before hey joe?

    is it beatles or..?

  • mistakes are not "Live re-working"

  • O_O amaizing !!

  • Noel was a crap bass player

  • @villiparis

Noel wasn't a bass player - he was a guitar player - was supposed to be rhythm/second lead - but with JH who needs a rhythm/second lead ! So he got hired on as the bass player.

  • my god jimi, we so miss you now. please come back as the messiah and send justin bebah to hell.

  • oops who missed the thumbs up button. Jimi forgives you regardless....

  • jimi is the best guitarrist ever, what if he took the guitar properly??

  • Much, much thanks!

  • who looked this up after reading Room Full of Mirrors?

  • 'Wed like to stop playing this rubbish' Classic line but I guess only Jimi has the right to call it rubbish. Supreme talent.

  • Epic!

  • I love the look on his face when he tunes his E at 1:28.

  • @guyfaulkes its adorable haha

  • @guyfaulkes ''Wow man, almost drop D, did you hear that; fooock!''

  • It's funny because it says "re-working of Hey Joe" but it was never a track on his album, Valleys Of Neptune.

  • Guitar GOD of all time

  • The Master at work.

  • This was the Lulu Show, on BBC on Saturdays in 1968/69. Hendrix was supposed to play Hey Joe, hich was already two years old. He was pissed. Played free-form, played Hey Joe a bit and then launched into a tribute to Cream who split up November 1968. The show was live on BBC and so they had to stay with him as BBC has no ads. Lulu didnt get to sing her closing song, we got 4 minutes of Jimi instead of 2 and you get this classic video

  • @fredg136 Hendrix did later apologise to Lulu about this.

  • How can this only have 1.6k views?! Thats criminal.

I love watching these videos of Jimi live. Barely any of the song is played like the recorded version, which is why its always a new experience watching each of his live videos.

    What an experience.

  • When they slowed it down, it was too sweet...oh my.

  • What a performance.

  • Is it just me or does Noel look like Geddy right now?

  • @LSGoCards7

More like Geddy looks like Noel.

  • @LSGoCards7 noel is dead so he looks like a skeleton now
