@szalma94 no, just make sure you unplug the hdd b4 installing win 7 on the hdd you want to install it in, will only deleted what ever is on that hdd and you can still keep w.e is on your other hdd, after you done installing the hdd in 1 of the 3 hdd you want to install it in, just make sure you plug your hdd in after everything is done

when i insert my installation disc i get an error msg telling me to reboot my coputer from the disc and when i do that it jumps to the windows 7 loading screen and then to the loginscreen just that there are no accounts to login too, so its act like its already been installed. this also happens when i try to upgrade to windows vista...anyone got some solutions? can my operating system be somehow ''locked'' to windows xp? any help is helpfull i guess!!!!!

fuck windows 7 i upgraded my xp to windows 7 and the only thing that windows 7 has better is its a little bit faster but xp is less complecated more safe and better looking and games performance is way better on xp windows 7 lags and glich all the time in every game i tried and it lock it self when i leave it alone and doesnt let me unlcok i am going to reformat my pc to xp back i paid money and wasted it on shit please i recommend not to do it take my advice and need info ? pm me i dont lie !

my computer said that one of my intel drivers was out of date, so i clicked check for updates; that didn't work so i went to intel's website to update it after i downloaded i clicked update and wouldn't you know is corrupted my driver, i then had to restore and run windows xp again wiping everything from my hard drive. :(

It doesn't launch while rebooting DESPITE, the setting in my bios which starts up from cd-rom 1st. When i launch it on XP, on desktop. I get this :

You can just leave everything on Windows.old and upgrade any software in there to be Windos 7 compatible. Then just get your shortcuts from there and Voila! Also, your documents should just be in My Documents. Just click and drag it to Windows 7 Documents and that should be it. Simple and painless IMO.

@masonstutorials no, just boot from the disk, goto custom install, delete partitions, make a new one, or just install to the whole hard drive.

The backing up is only recommended if you have files you want to keep, such as pictures etc etc.

Nice video tut. I know how to but i wanted to check one more time. It would have made the video better if you would have showed the HOW TO BOOT THE DISK FROM BIOS though because some people, like me, are upgrading from Xp 32bit to 7-64bit and it doesnt auto setup like yours did.

@XxTaylorHD Thats simple, but it depends on your mother board. You may have to press a key anywhere from del-f2-f8-f5 maybe even the end key, just depends. After you get into the bios you go over to boot menu, set it to your DVD drive as first, insert cd, restart, press a key when it tells you to, and WALAH, done. You may have to go back into the bios to make HDD boot first again later but eh.
