I am an executive with a medium sized pharmaceutical company. I have a PhD in Chemistry and a Masters in Industrial Pharmacy. I have two children and a fraternal newphew with disorders diagnosed in the Autistic spectrum. There is absolutely no history of brian maladies in my known family history stretching four generations and hundreds of people. How is it that so many people who have no family history of these type of disorders are now having multiple children develope them?
Better diagnosis now. And some would argue that by sheer virtue of your PhD in chemistry and the Masters in Industrial Pharmacy point to someone on the Autism Spectrum.

This is what our son was labeled as, but even the tester said the test did not show his true abilities.

I would really like to see any data that supports that! I have never heard of such a case, at least one that was documented correctly and for a long time - "autism" usually takes AT LEAST 2-3 years before it's diagnosed! (my sons are 6 and just finally got a diagnosis) And Thimerosal is still in MANY vaccines - the flu vaccine for one!
Well, I read that Denmark (1992) and Canada (1994) removed thimerisol from vaccines but still expierienced the same rise in autism as countires like the UK and the USA who still used thimerisol in vaccines. Also, not very many toddlers have flu jabs- normally adults. My big sis and mum get the flu jab and they did not change one bit. I was always autistic, still got MMR and it didn't change me whatsoever (according to my mum).

I believe that there may be difference in most of the "autism" that is diagnosed today - and the autism that people were born with - most cases today are regressive "autism" - they are not born that way - my twin sons weren't. Mercury is usually cleared out well by most people - but for some reason the regressive "autistic" kids can't get rid of it well, if at all, and many other toxins, which makes the mercury all the more damaging.

Because my mercury didn't enter my bloodstream like it did theirs - mine was ingested -and for the most part "filtered out" before it has a chance to enter my blood stream. While I was pregnant with them the mercury that was fresh from my teeth and seeping into my body, went straight thru the placenta to them. And then they got mercury in the shots the day they were born -bypassing the digestive system and going directly into the blood - which is how it gets into the brain.

maybe because you weren't given the amounts of mercury that these kids were - I got maybe 3 vaccines as a child - compared to 12-15 that my sons were given. the hepatitis B (given at birth) contained as much as 12.5 micrograms of mercury per dose, which is 100 times the EPA's upper limit standard when administered to infants - and that's just one shot.

my sons do have high levels of mercury - and I don't believe that all autistic people are mercury poisoned. and most therapies that I am aware of (here at least) don't even mention the mercury factor. It's hard to find a professional -outside of naturopaths and the like- that believe that mercury has anything to do with my sons' "autism" - I rarely mention it to therapists, unless I am asked, since it is usually not met with a kind response.
As the mother of an autistic child, I know all to well how hard it is to get ANY assistance from the state or federal government. I pray that it goes through soon.

It's hard to find a professional -outside of naturopaths and the like- that believe that mercury has anything to do with my sons' "autism" - I rarely mention it to therapists, unless I am asked, since it is usually not met with a kind response.

As the mother of an autistic child, I know all to well how hard it is to get ANY assistance from the state or federal government. I pray that it goes through soon.
