  • "i beg your pardon?"..lmao

i dunno...hahaha this clip was quit funny

  • This lady got off easy compared to the rest of the people.

  • I want to find the scene where the old lady talks to her son robbbie in the cell

  • Colm Feore was fantastic. Is it wrong that I was rooting for Linoge the whole time?

  • Everyone on the island seemed to have some terrible thing in their past...maybe this old lady was the worst of them all!

  • Quick Madam, blow your Grape Whistle!

  • Comment removed

  • agreed it's a frikkin classic and an oldy.

  • somebody please upload this movie agian and as filmmakers account......please

  • Wasn't this story based upon an event that happened in a place called "Roanoak Island" way back when pilgrams first came here. And there was like 200 people who just vanished?

  • Something like that. Kroaton LOL. I've seen in the History Chanel long ago but it was different than the movie.

    You know what?, Never mind.

  • yes your right,it's erie but it's a true story.

  • Yes, I remember the name Roanok in the book and in the movie.

    Great movie!

  • Stephen King created this off of .... "Storm of the Century started with a jailhouse image: that of a white man sitting on the bunk in his cell, heels drawn up, arms resting on knees, eyes unblinking" This image kept coming to his mind, and he kept building off it... He said he can't quite remember what gave him that image only it was a perishable image. So he started writing a screenplay for a mini series that would air on ABC.

Had nothing to do with "Roanoke Island" but it's a good idea!

  • @DmMAGIC But he does indeed reference it. Croetan

  • @Dwill187 Oh yeah there was a big reference with Croatian, the word that was left on the tree. So creepy, so very creepy!

It's just not how he thought it up, I am happy he did reference it though. The whole story of Roanoke creeps me out to this day.

  • to anybody wwho reads

look up 'richard kulkinski'....this andre needs to talk with him a long one too!

  • No one fucking know if Demons are immortal. When Jesus met Legion after crossing the water, he kerpwnt the Demon and threw him in to the light to save said man who was possesed by him, doens't sound immortal IMO.

Also, one doesn't know if he could fullfill his damn promises, since the villagers pussied out and went on with his demands, and if you see, Linoge is a anagram of LEGION. Stephen King has just made demons in his books able to be defeated, took away their "immortality", if they haveome

  • Wow! Pissed you off, didn't I? Take it easy, it's just fantasy. SK seems to write about demons often, but he really writes about ancient creatures from alternate realities/dimensions, nothing more. The reason this creature from SOTC called himself Linoge was only so Mike could discover that it was an anagram for Legion. That way, Mike would THINK that he was in fact many demons, and he'd be more afraid. That was the main purpose of this thing, to play with the islander's fears. Learn to read.

  • bro ... its a movie.

  • If you don't like the film, then don't look for videos that are related to it on youtube. Or just how idiot and pathetic are you? No need to respond. I already know.

  • It sure is..., in that little, thick head of yours, of course. But well, what could I expect from a narrow-minded little dipshit like you? 1) Or you haven't seen many films, or 2) you couldn't understand it because, well, it was in English. You know, that language you can hardly speak.

It's kinda strange that you don't like "losing your time," and yet you're the one who's posting inane crap TWICE. Buahaha! Forget about the Internet. People who can hardly spell shouldn't be ALLOWED to live.

  • hahahahaha what a looser, look at this guy, no life at all............

  • Maybe... but YOU care. ;)

  • I agree with you...if this dork watched the movie...

He would of remembered that he was neither a God nor a demon. Perhaps an entity from an alternate reality. Like when Stephen King wrote the Dark Tower and spoke about how reality's can intersect one another.

  • Well, it doesn't surprise me at all. These are the sort of people who need everything to be spelled out for them, so... it's to be expected.

  • Illuminati perhaps?

  • Possibly the best made for tv movie ever?

  • born in lust...turn to dust, born in sin? come on

  • Shut up, numbnuts24... Oh, sorry, it was nothumbs24. My bad!

  • lollipopfop...

You're saying that you would have sided with the islanders that played along with Linoge's game and sacrificed Ralphie?

The bottom line here is that if we ACTUALLY existed in a world where the supernatural forces of Good and Evil were realities...

YOU would cut a deal with Evil to protect your interests.

    There you have it. ;)

  • Yes, I would cut a deal with a demon to see 8 children live. You bet your life. That seems moral to me. I wouldn't risk lives to prove anything. Absolutely.

  • Oh, I'm sure you'd buy your salvation. What's moral about it? Nothing. Because even if the "demon" (which we know he wasn't, because he was a mortal, and demons aren't mortal) could fulfill his promises, all you'd be doing is saving your own ass. You wouldn't really care about the kids' lives, only about your own. And you wouldn't change. You'd still be the same idiot, selfish and coward bitch you are. Like the islanders, who kept being the same assholes. Being a coward is not moral.

  • This is one of my favorite stories of all time. Its such a brilliantly crafted moral dilemma.

I would have sided with Mike Anderson. There are no two ways about it. He belongs in Gryffindor house.

  • If you think that its a better idea to let 8 kids die then to send one off to sorcery school, then you probably shouldn't be a parent. Real parents know that hey would give their kid up to keep them safe. Im sure thats not a problem, however because I doubt anyone would do what it takes to have any kids with a moron like you, 666boogieman666 :)

  • You're obviously an idiot bitch who missed the point of the whole film (but you often do that, so now I know it's not on purpose - you're a real tard). Linoge was just tricking them all. Big time. He was just bloffing, like Michael said. He was very powerful, but not enough to a) take a child, and b) to fulfill his promises (the dreams). He just wanted the islanders to fear him, and it worked. Molly notices this, but it's too late already. Jeez! You need everything to be spelled out for you!

  • If that was my parents I think id ask to go with the sorcerer rather then die, or even rather then live in a small cold boring village with an uptight dad.

  • Wouldn't work. The sorcerer would probably know you're no good at all and he'd kill you in a second. :)

  • born in lust...turn to dust, born in sin? come on it....

  • in not it

  • This is the best horror movie i ever seen...and its i think about 3hours..and the end is ufff...really scary...poor old lady

  • That's messed up man.

  • Will someone please upload this movie?

  • I know right?! I wanna see this so bad.

  • Will someone please upload this movie?

  • He's NOT the Devil, he's a 4000 year old sorcerer!!

  • @response007 Yes

  • @LeaderoftheNWO Glad you agree!!

IF he were either Satan, or the demon Legion (who are actually a hundred demons, one for each swine/pig) he would be immortal and wouldn't need a successor. Just because Linoge is an anagram of Legion doesn't PROVE that he is. Only idiots would think that.

  • born in sin COME ON IN
