You don't have a website or anything, makes me wonder if we're even hearing this amp for real and it's a scam or something, seems very unprofessional, why wouldn't you try to look legit at least?
@TheJungleJamz HA HA HA don't hate bro this is the first video and amp I ever made. As far as websites go I don't need one yet hell I don't even have an FB. Small small small is what I am if you want a 100% hand built point to point high gain channel switching amp PayPal me $1000.00 or come to Cali and grease my hand in person then you'll know if the amp in the video is the one your hearing.
Is the amp you built supposed to be an original Model T clone? THe tone is Awesome. I am currently running a Model T reissue through an original sunn 412s from the seventies. I'm looking for another head to run my clean channel thoough as well.
The overdrive is set to noon it's got plenty more gain on tap it goes from classic rock to death metal if you want. The Sunn amp on the botom is an original 1974.
I had a reissue Model T sounded like a buzz saw yuk got rid of it.
@creepychris11 Got a Myspace that's it, all controls are at NOON basically what your hearing on this clip is a low gain flat sound. This amp can be set up to straight melt shit! The KIND channel can do Plexi clean to JCM 800 mean great for Stoner Rock.
@emperorofthenorth5 I like them just fine all 3 of my videos are played through my Marshall cab loaded with Swamp Thangs. Don't know about mixing speakers in the same cab due to possible phase cancelling.
The Navtone is a two channel amp with Kind/Grind channels. The original Sunn model T in the video was made in 1973 it's kind of like a cross between an Fender Bassman and a Marshall Plexi. You need a distortion pedal to get anywhere near the amount of gain compared to the Navtone. I had a Sunn reissue head made by Fender sold it nuff said.
Are you gonna ever build something similar to the Sunn Model T? Id buy that!

Impressive! it sounds very close to the head sitting on top of it but with a more "up to date" gain level. Do you have a webpage I can check out?

@emperorofthenorth5 I like them just fine all 3 of my videos are played through my Marshall cab loaded with Swamp Thangs. Don't know about mixing speakers in the same cab due to possible phase cancelling.
And ya that's my 74 Model T sitting on top
navdave 1 year ago
@navdave Ive just been researching that the low end of the Swamp Thang would mix well with the punchy mids of the Texas Heat
That model T is sweet
