Yes I don't see any reason why that could not be done but would you really want your dirty water sent back to body jets?
The cost of the equipment required would not go anywere near the little cost of the metered water supplied.
If you set that up in a gym were the shower are constantly used it may be cost effective but even with filters I would not want other peoples dirty water sprayed on me!
would it be possible on a ground floor to put a solenoid valve along the drain pipe to redirect the water to a pump, heater and filter, the water could then be directed to massage jets? and have the entrance door raised up 1.5 - 2ft to make the whole room like a pool?
please note i am seeking a patent for water hights above 0.5ft :)
It's amazing how much more popular wet rooms are in Europe and Asia than they are in the United States. These are great concepts for smaller spaces and also universal and accessible design oriented bathrooms. Nice project!
I have a question. When applying your flexible bandage to the corners why do you paint the whole area behind it?. If it is fixed 100% wont this will reduce the amount of flex it has.
No Qualifications are required just a good level of DIY skills then follow the instruction.
However if I was paying for someone to carry out the work I would be looking for a local plumber who also tiles that has completed work for someone you know and you have seen the standard of his tiling.
If you live in the north east of England I can recommend someone just e-mail me on info@rubberduckbathrooms.co.uk
Imagine having this much space to work in. Every bathroom I've ever done has been the size of a matchbox.
Hmmm. I was always taught to tile outwards starting at the shower drain myself.
I've never actually tanked a wet room before. I've always used Hardibacker boards and waterproof tape. Mind you, I've always done shitty council housing where time is money.
