As a American Indian I can say we lost our freedoms and our country. And in the times of the slaves the ones who were living in those days lost their personal rights and freedom. If the government really wanted to set anyone free they owned all the money and ships that brought the African people here why didn't they just buy them and set them free? We The People have a right to own a gun and protect our self from anyone who try's to take our guns and our rights away. Anyone.

@hifatpeople it's like saying that blacks use drugs more than whites... which is false.

it's like saying blacks MUST commit more crimes because there are more in jail than whites.

the black population has a lot more cops in their neighborhoods because it's easy for the cops to catch people with drugs there... because they don't have money for lawyers, so they take a plea bargain.

@American2Revolution minorities tend to commit more "visible" crimes because of poverty and lack of resources like you said... its much easier to catch someone for possession than to catch a white collar crime like embezzlement. its easy for police to patrol the poor neighborhoods and pick off the petty criminals than to go after the more serious crimes. :/ its a sad truth. this is why minorities are over represented in the dept. of corrections.
