GUYS THE RAT KING WAS ONLY PART OF THE SNES VERSION YOU DUMASSES!! THIS IS BASED OFF THE ARCADE ONE!! not to be a bitch but I like Reshelled. The music isn't as catchy but I like the music. and please. Does it in ANYWAY mess with gameplay? I can't even buy it now because you of fuckers

@Jay20023 ARE YOU RETARDED ? im sorry but too many people ask that when the rat king, the technodrome level, and most of all slash were only added by konami and this is a remake of the ARCADE ORIGINAL VERSION NOT THE SNES VERSION.... it would've been called summer of SNES not summer of arcade.
I love how they incorporated the voices of the latest animated series in this re-do. I would love to see a re-shell of the origonal acrade game and of Turtles 3 The Manhatten Project.
Just doesn't seem to have the same charm the SNES version had. And I tell you I miss Shredder's classic line from the technodrome level: "Tonight I dine on turtle soup" lol
for what console this is ?and how many remakes are exists,i just played on 8 bit turtles,so maybe there is a remake of first part,or remake where you can play as other chars not turtles, turtles games are sucks =( not much moves and camera view are suck
Now I'm sure you guys were expecting the Rat King on Scene 3, but you're wrong. This is a remake of the arcade version. The SNES version had that boss.
The Hell?! I call foul. They completely skipped the Rat King fight, and the Technodrome walk through. Love how Shredder just randomly throws you through a time warp without his portal. :P
That's how the arcade version was.. instead of remaking the superior S-NES version, what they did instead was waste the time and effort to remake the arcade version and this is what you have here.
The Technodrome level wasn't in the arcade. The Shredder boss fight where you had to throw foot soldiers into the screen at him wasn't in the arcade. Ratking is in the SNES only.
The mudman boss was in the Prehistoric Turtlesaurus arcade version while Slash the super turtle was in the SNES version.
I think Bebop and Rocksteady was in the SNES version only. Also SNES had Super Shredder from the TMNT 2 movie, while in the arcade version you fought Norrmal Shredder.
It still amazes me that they didn't remake the SNES version of the game and use either the original music or remixed or retooled versions of the same music. Turtles In Time Reshelled definitely loses a little of its old school charm without the original music.
Also, in the SNES version, there was a boss in the sewer level--the Rat King. The 1st Technodrome was after that, with Tokka and Rahzar, followed with Shred-head in a contraption (it's funny how you beat this boss). Then it's to the stone age vs. Slash there. (I guess Slash was more "canon" than Cement Man anyway, and I agree). Then in the pirate ship, it was Bebop and Rocksteady at the end! The arcade forgot them?!?!
Yeah, maybe Wiiware might do the reshelled SNES one.
wow, this game looks great! stays loyal to the snes version and almost leans me to getting a 360. now all i need is some large sum of money to magically drop from the sky...
That was in the Super Nintendo version. This is a remake of the arcade version which didn't have the Technodrome level. That's why it went straight to the past after Sewer Surfin. I wish it was a remake of the SNES version though but oh well.
@bdcool213 The reason why this is not based on the SNES version is because of the keyword: Nintendo. That would still be pretty cool, though. Putting together the best of both versions.
@bdcool213 yeah that rly Lazy to just do a rmk of the fucking arcade wtf most of people only played the Snes version with emulator and all it was just a lazy excuse to do less level ..

They didn't skip those things. Sadly this is a remake of the Arcade version which didn't have those things.
The snes port put those things in as extras to compensate for the reduction in graphics and sound from the arcade version.

What the hell was that supposed to be?
I'm talking about the monster that replaced Slash.
Nicksolo85 2 years ago 2
Actually, Slash was the replacement. Cement-Man's the boss from the original arcade version of the game, which is what this is a remake of.
Ultim874 2 years ago 3
I believe it's Clayface (from Batman), accidentally fell into the wrong game. Slash goes up against Batman in his game released that same year.
