  • That's a weird looking condom

  • And that kids, is what will happen if u put your penis in there!

  • Снимал на диапроектор.

  • nice job video tapin with a calculator

  • Slow frame rate is slow

    also

    balloon looks like a condom

  • How did you manage to get such high resolution footage?

  • sucky camera

  • best camera EVAR!!!

  • ur camera sucks. i couldnt really tell what was happening

  • Best camera quality ever....Or are you taking a pic with every 0.25 secs?

  • horrible quality

  • the liquid natrogen is so cold that when the oxygen and nitrogen inside the baloon get that cold to they turn to liquid air.

  • Its A dick thats turning on!

  • I wana stick a Cockroach in some Liquid Nitrogen.

lol it looked like a rubber when it was shrunk

  • cause it's made of rubber dumbass

  • hahahaha

  • the liquid nitrogen sucked the heat off of the ballon, making the gas inside the balloon shrink big time. It is just amazing though.

  • HOLY MOLEY!!

  • omg thats freaky!!!

  • i love science! life is weird so science explains it!

  • not really

  • cool

  • Haha, I thought that was a rubber for a second.

  • ive seen it in person before its really cool. i also had crackers dipped in liquid nitrogen lol

  • wow that sweet wonder were the air went? when it was in the nitrogen

  • It shrunk because it got cold... The air is still in the ballon. If he would warm up the baloon again it would grow back to its original size!

  • This person speaks the truth...

Before I clicked and watched the vid, I expected the balloon to shrink...since air contracts in cold conditions....

  • it formed liquid nitrogen

    and lox

  • dude thats awsome

    4-stars

  • Welcome to the interwebs

  • What happened to my video? (0.o)

  • It got posted on Reddit.

  • That's how I found it. lol

  • How did it get there?

  • Someone sent the address of this video to the site, and it got posted.

    You're famous!

  • OH NOESSSSSSS

  • that shit looked like a used rubber

  • You look like a used rubber.

  • take a magic marker to write something on it, or make an animal balloon first but only show it from the ending part where it comes back

  • The Nitrogen slowed down the air molecules to the point where it wasn't generating enough outward force to prevent the rubber's elastic potential energy from collapsing the balloon.

  • Shrinkage is rough.

  • Wow. That has "elementary school science fair project gone wrong" written all over it

  • Isn't this illegal?

  • Only in America.

  • This was in response to the below, now my joke is ruined. Bah.

  • I knew it! Those damn Nitrorists, flying their damn shrinking balloons into really cold bowls!

  • this exact thing was on japanese tv like a week ago....

  • Science is only illegal in the U.S.A.

  • That is the saddest true statement i've heard in a long time.

  • Australia too I'm afraid :(

  • @LordOuzin

What? We're the most scientifically advanced country in existence. The fuck are you doing on this American website typing on your American computer about America not being scientific?

  • Uh... wat?

  • That science is illegal in the U.S.A. Science wants to be FREE. Free your science!

    Whip out your science.

  • Oh, and contrary to the comment below, PV=NRT isn't sufficient to explain this (77K/300K is only 1/3 or so, and the balloon deflates a lot more than that). The air in the balloon actually liquefies and then boils.

Using high-quality balloons keeps the lossage due to brittle rubber breaking to a minimum.

  • A part of me also do that when it gets cold.

  • I once filled someone's entire room with balloons (7 gross worth) by packing them in 3 beer coolers full of liquid nitrogen, hauling them up to the room, and dumping them out to auto-reinflate.

Uh, one warning with doing this... cold stuff condenses water out of the air, so make sure there's nothing that can be damaged by water sitting on the floor.

  • cool story

  • This one time I drank some liquid nitrogen, and I became mr freeze. true story.

  • PV=NRT

  • oh man when it deflated i was impressed but when it returned to its normal state i was blown away...

    lame

  • Don't you be on store with Penny buying Leonard's present Sheldon?

  • Because anything that can excite the masses and get them interested in science is most definitely worth it.

No matter how 'lame' it seems.

  • neat :)

  • shit

  • Noice

  • Neat! *takes picture* -Bender

  • kewlz

  • wow awesome
