Mine grew to my waist, and I very rarely got them wet when I swam because when I surfaced my head would be pulled backwards by the weight of the water in my hair. Also depending on the weather my hair could take a week to dry. Inconvenient sometimes, but if that was the biggest problem I was facing, then life's blessed
