  • there's nothing wrong with your gtx 260... this game runs like garbage on dual cores. I had the almost exact same specs as you until i replaced my cpu to an i5 and got from 30-40 fps to 50-70

  • @llJAFYll newb question- will i be able to play mw2 with no lag on medium to high settings?

intel pentium dual core e5400@3.3 ghz

    gtx 280

2gb ram @ 416mhz( thats what it said in cpu-z)

    win 7 ultimate 32bits

  • @FireVortex720 lol obviously... you'll get constant 90 fps guaranteed

  • @llJAFYll what if i told you i swapped the gtx 280 for a hd 5770/5750?

  • @FireVortex720 dont think it would change... since i think 90 fps is the max and the hd 5770 is a pretty capable card. Idk about the 5750... i have a 5770 myself

  • @llJAFYll the problem is, i dont know if my e5400 will bottleneck a 5770. normally, 90% of gamers have at least a quad core. i'll only e doing some light gaming. eg modern warfare 2 , some of the battlefield series, nothing too flashy. thats all. im trying to get the best card for my budget ($100). the problem with hd 5770 is that people are telling me its outdated. will that affct me whatsoever? would a 5770 be good for at least another 2 yers?

  • I got a 9400 gt 512 MB 4gb of RAM and Intel Dual Core 5200 2.6 Gz will it run well on multiplayer because on singleplayer ran very well

  • @amneSSSSSSSSia Upgrade your gpu at some point in the near future - as for me, I'll be wanting to build an entirely NEW tower next year :D

  • @amneSSSSSSSSia Sounds like a decent setup to me - thing is, our 260s are getting outdated as the time passes (and fail patches release) ... both of us might want to upgrade =\

  • i have e5200 at 2.5, ati hd 3400 256 mb's, 2 gb ram, can i run it on these specs?

  • @Iviqrr You just meet the minimum requirements. Considering I had that processor, that is going to slow you down a bit. Your vid card is 256mb? That might be another issue, I'm guessing medium settings for you...

  • @sicorange3 im getting a ati radeon 1 gb graphic card ddr2 i think, is it a better choice then a 512 mb ddr3?

  • @Iviqrr I'm not too familiar with ATI - but research how many processing cores/units it has to offer. I wasn't even aware that they still sold ddr2 lol, but it makes sense. Get the best bang from your buck, and ask other people besides me ;)

  • @sicorange3 no ddr3 512 mb is better. And the gbs are not for the speed they are for textures. If he can run that game on mid with that fucking old office card i fucking kiss your ass but so: shame on you!

For mid on 1280 you need a 9600gt and not that cheap budget card.

  • HEY i have this same game whit my e5200 at 3.7ghz and a radeon 6850 and my min fps are 30fps, al max out at 1920x1080p, whit al AA rise up!

  • this is one of my favourites.. i play it again after buy a new gpu. coz my old one really sucked

  • and I mean 30 at Minimal FPS... it hardly ever goes below that. Stays above 30 97% of the time. especially when you have a room temp of 68-70 degrees, and a fast processor it cuts through this game like a hot knife through butter. GTX 260m is the perfect GPU to handle this game on Max.

  • consoles don't even get perfect performance on games. infact they got rid of some dust and snow blowing around on one of the BC2 maps for the PS3 beacuse people were complaining about lag.

point is most Consoles sit around 30 FPS on most First person shooters, in that sence I am getting better performance, I might get worse minimal FPS but thats because consoles are optimized better and don't have background tasks.

  • the new youtube layout BLOWS. how can i see video responses?

  • just wondering, do you have a ZT system?

  • @gstreetfee What is a ZT system?

  • @sicorange3 it is a brand of computer, i have a ZT system but i think im the only one, i was just wondering because i bought BFBC2 and i cant run it, if i do single or multi player i crash to desktop after about 10 seconds but i have an old video card however i am running a amd athlon 64X2 5200+@2.71 GHZ..dual core and i heard alot of ppl say you need at least a quadcore for this game i was wondering if mine could handle it since it pumps out a good GHZ

  • omg oc that cpu he is bottlneck your graphic card on my pc e5200@3.75 2gb ram 9800gtx+ i getting 35-40+ fps on max setings ... @ 1280x1024

  • @Nomad2243 i think its a little diffrent beetwen pc a laptop , laptops graphic are few times slower than normal pc graphic card , u have expensive laptop and u're able to play vhigh detail , ppl also using medium settings for multiplayer cause they dont want to get "peformace lagg" in bigger action :) , dont compare sp and mp , mp needs more power than sp :)

  • @testplmnb

Well the point is the GTX 260m has been benchmarked on bad Company 2 and handles it with native res, everything to High, 16x AF, 1xaa, HBAO on , at 41 FPS.

you can completely max this game out with a GTX 260m.

  • @Nomad2243 but multi change everything :D,bc2 benchmarked in mp ?

  • @testplmnb

no it was Benchmarked on the Campaign

but I play it on the Multiplayer all the time and it gets around 41... obviously when there is 32 people on a map... all shooting and tones of explosions your going to get a bit less... could drop down to 25-30 at the very least without an Overclocked Proccesor.

I have a Core 2 Duo P7450 at 2.13 Ghrz and I Overclock it my Proccesor by 20% and that makes the minimal FPS go way up.

Over clocking your Processor will help a tone in BC2.

  • i got a gtx 260 its better for the game need more video memory but nice video dude

  • ROFL? this vid is laggy for me

  • can i play this game well without lags with amd athlon x2 250 3ghz and 9500gt

  • I WANT THIS GAME!!!!! ='( !!!!

  • Ofcourse man, E5200 @ 2.5ghz can't be compared to an E8400@3.00ghz, and when its obvious that E8400 is superior and that E5200@stock bottlenecked ur GTX260!!

You must have Overclocked the E5200 to about 3.5ghz and then i think it would have been equal to E8400, WHAT SAY YOU?

  • @sicorange3 Low graphics actually don't look that bad because this game looks atrocious l0l.

  • Notice how sketchy this gameplay is, compared to when I upgraded the processor to a simple e8400 - be sure to check the video response :D

  • I get about 25-40 fps atm on low settings with my dual core @ 5200 and my nvidia 8800 and 4gb ram but I'm going to upgrade within a couple of weeks to a 260 or 275 and a quad core @ 10,000 GHz

  • Hey man can you elaborate the difference in gaming performance, u faced between E5200 and E8400?If it's significant(noticeable) then do give examples, like how much FPS u gained?

  • @bikermicefrmars Well, one could read both video descriptions :P

But when I upgraded - glad I did - my max fps on my old processor was my minimum on my new one... that should tell you right there. Smoother gameplay, I can actually pick off targets while they're moving (even while recording), it's better than before.

Not the best processor, but better than what I had, for sure.

  • what kind of frame rate do you usually get? im running a dual core at 3.1 ghz and it never maintains a steady frame rate :(

  • runs the game smooth in multiplayer ? cuz i have the same setup as your's just the motherboard an the vid card .i have 9800 GT 512 ram should i run this game on medium ?, ?

  • @HHEADHUNTERZZ It did run smooth (enough) for me... but to be honest, not enough. Sniping or trying to get a headshot with your pistol - your fps kinda suffers... You don't really need anti alias on, I turned that down since this vid (and I got a new processor since this vid). 2x anti alias is about the most you need, unless you have a $2000 computer - I only have a $1000 PC :P

  • @sicorange3 so its normally gonne work ?:p need a new processer to , a Quad core.

  • @HHEADHUNTERZZ It'll work, I still had fun with it on that processor. I upgraded to a simple core2duo @ 3.0ghz (e8400) and now I get smooth gameplay ranging from 35-60fps.

  • @sicorange3 yea nice ^^ i thought i need to buy a i7 cuz they got only 70 fps on that processer , so i get a Quad Core <3 Ö but now first my shit dual core ;(. thanks for reply.

  • @HHEADHUNTERZZ Not a problem... I was asking around on videos with setups like mine, just to be sure, too :P

  • @sicorange3 how much fps should i get ? E5200 2.5ghz

    4gb ram , Nvidia Geforce 9800 gt 1 gb version ,

  • @HHEADHUNTERZZ considering your processor seems to limit your gfx card (as mine did), I would go as far to assume that you would get 20fps minimum to 35/40fps max.

  • @sicorange3 Thanks Man Thats Help gonne buy it today !.

  • m95 sucks overall... theres no ohk in normal match types and on hardcore gol and sv98 are way better choices

  • Overall, I would agree. The M95 can pack a punch, but the farther you are from your target, the more inaccurate it could be. But the M95 inflicts the most damage.

The GOL and M24 are both pretty accurate, but not as strong as the M95. GOL is my favorite rifle I would say, due to its accuracy.

  • @sicorange3 yeah the scope for the gol doesnt even sway! its the only rifle that does that

  • I WANT

  • @evilpig GO BUY

  • Funny. I have a version of gtx 260m which has nothing related to Gtx 260 desktop. I wish I had ur powerful card :)

  • nice to see you use V-Sync, lol most people turn it off, because they will sacrifice having screen tearing just so they can brag about having higher FPS.

  • what pistol are you using?

  • The M9-3... has a three-shot burst-fire

  • @sicorange3 thanks, i always think it is a desert eagle or something that is like it

  • I wish the Desert Eagle was in this game :\

Maybe if they ever release more maps, you'd think it would be nice of them to hand out a few more weapons too :P

  • @sicorange3 yeah me too, the only thing i hate is that they only added new pistols, replacements for primarys (which i think is very dumb) and they just added new maps, they should add more snipers, assault rifles, sub machine guns, and light machine guns. the weapons are getting boring :p

  • how much did the gtx 260 cost?

  • At the time... roughly around $200

  • FIRST
