Just returned from Japan in 11/09. Christmas is very big in Japan and some degree in Kyoto and Shikoku. Much bigger than 2006, when I visited Japan last. For many, many Japanese, being nonChristians, they do not know the origin/s of Christmas and the religious significance.

Hello everyone, I would like to visit Tokyo soon and I cannot live without internet and cellphone. I know I can't use my American phone in Japan and that renting phone from Narita Airport would be the best option. But I was wondering if I it's possible that I can get internet ON the rented phone while in Tokyo. Is that possible? If so, how much will it cost per day or web usage? Thanks in advance!!!

there are a ton of internet cafes in Japan... A ton. You'll be fine. Usually, around 500-700 yen an hour with free drinks (non-alcoholic) food, anime, manga, magazines, and other assorted Japanese DVDs
