is it me or do there songs tell a story of a girl name ella, stacie anne, and one more girl? henrietta, maybe?? i mostly think this because of 3 skinny girls!! i dont know! it jsut sounds really cool how they use the same names, ella (Cinderella, i'm guessing) in many of there song =) love them!
Mistress Mabel should have been the B-side! They seem to have everything the wrong way around. They release their weakest songs as singles and put their best songs as B-sides. I wonder what the songs are like that they don't even bother to record :D
I love the Fratellis but if the only songs I knew were Chelsea dagger and Mistress Mabel (like the vast majority of the population) I wouldn't have gone anywhere near them. It was just luck that I stumbled across their less mainstream stuff.
This song is a piece of shit sellout just like the rest of the album. Costello music was amazing, this album is a prime example of how money making ruins perfectly good bands. Such as Greenday.
