man, i said i had watched heaps of his games. u dont know the height yao got in China, he could even shoot 50 pts and 24 rebs in one game plus 100% field goal. could yi do that? i have watched and played this game for 15 years. as i said, he got talent, but he has a long way to go, longer than wat u see.

i disagree. i dont think you watched enough of yaos and yis games in china, youve only seen the stats. yao's height advantage in china is why he got 50 pts and 24 rebs (once) in the CBA. no one could match him. when he came to the nba, there were players who could match his height and own him in speed. yi's game was made for the nba. he will post similar numbers in the nba as the cba within a couple of years.

i told u i watched the games of both, not stats. yao got better basketball iq than yi. yi can jump higher and run faster than yao does, but yi cant dominate the cba, but yao can. that is the difference. anyway, i wish yi could play well in the league, i only expect good games, but not good players.

well of course yao has better basketball iq than yi, cause hes been in the nba for 5 years. whether one or the other had the same at the same age is debatable. there are other factors that go into their production as a rookie. yao was being touted as the potential cornerstone of the team as a rookie, so he produced well. if yi gets the same treatment he should be able to produce even more.
