great mix bro man i hope things go well for you and your son, cats in the cradle is me and my dad's favorite song i want to be just like him thanks man love the mix and wish the best for you and your family
I grew up with Harry. He would be proud. I work 3rd shift This song starts my night. every night. Can you do something with tangled up puppet? I have a daughter and I'm just as proud of her!
Hey prophet - clean up the mix and some of the edgy words like sux & piss me off - then check out a Christian rapper named Lacrea and send his folk yo mix - you just might catch a break - you have potential
very small spots were slightly off, as in the blending didnt go quite right, i dont know how to describe it... the guitar and the beat u used didnt ... yeah. but if you can fix that, i believe that this song will have some MAJOR potential!!! Fix it up and re-post it.
In spite of the defects, it was so good that it sent chills down my spine...enough said...
Alacrist, I have to tell you.....I was not expecting a rap version of this immortal song....I was hunting a mix, which you gave me, and you gave me something more. I am 40 years old and cut my teeth at the beginnings of both rap and mixing and with the deep knowledge I possess of both I am stupid pleased to have ran across your song, however accidentally it was. 5/5 my man. NEVER GIVE UP YOUR DREAM
wow man, i definitely give you respect for that. sounded damn good, and thats how music should be. about the things that matter most. i hope you and your boy the best of luck truly. never stop livin life
@Alacrist you still checking in on this man? And how has it gone for you? This is a hit waiting to happen man....I hope to hear it on the airwaves one day soon..just to say YO, I heard this before y'all did"!
@BlindDuck1 yeah I'm still checking it and still working on getting it out, as well as working on new stuff....
It's very inspiring to see that people still listen to this and it has been boosting my drive to get it out... Hopefully i will have my album on Itunes within the next 2 months
Thanks again for all the comments keep them coming lol...
OK, I'm not a rap fan at all-50 y/o white male, but I feel your connection, and the beat! You're a good father who loves his boy and that I can relate to. Harry Chapin's ability to tell a story with his music was magic. Cats in the Cradle made me early on tell myself-I'm never going to let that happen to me and my boy-teaching him to throw at age 10! My boy is 10 now and is an all-star baseball player. Endless hours with him. Check out my blackbird video. PS: Cat Stevens never did this song.
