he respects the fact that hayao can parry into gigas. it's not hard to parry 1 fireball and 1 shippu hit, and he didn't have enough meter to go for an EX fireball xx shippu.

Against Hayao, who is VERY smart with parrying, throwing out an ex tatsumaki or something to try and chip him is equivalent to just giving him the round.
