@ltm0011 it was like that. it was our first time here. so technically I shouldn't lose any points cuz we didn't place it on the pump in the first place!
@martylaurie This is correct. The inlet piping is fine. You need 10 pipe diameters before you can elbow horizontally. But because the 90 goes up, it's fine.
believe it or not, yes....lol. i'll have to re-post this one as there is no generator test in it...lol. my internet must of cut out during the night while uploading and youtube thought it was done.
really? i think the sound is muffled a little. I know the quality of the picture is better. I couldnt believe it when I could read the pressure gauge...clear as hell.

@twoplyboy Fair play. Also adam900r is mistake. Inlet piping is fine.

Not to code ?
Read the new standard, vertical change of direction is fine.
Good test, packings leaking and higher PSI gauges are needed.

@twoplyboy :
The suction has a elbow, less 10 diameter distance
silvafaedo 1 year ago
@silvafaedo 10 pipe diameters only applies to horizontal elbows, not vertical.

I used to work at a plywood mill that had a fire pump. It was in a separate building and was powered by deisel fuel. Talk about some water.

Just imagine the electric bill if you forgot to turn that off...

The pump looks like the pump used for forced hot water heat in school buildings. ;)

If I may ask, what is a garbage chute inspector's test?
Natesmodelrailroad 2 years ago
it's a test point that we use to flow water to simulate a sprinkler flow in the garbage chute.
