This goes to show how difficult it is to build a life like robot. If you look at some other video's, you can see that people can make a perfectly life like robot with facial movement and synthetic skin that mimics real skin. But, No matter how real they get, you can see the lifeless look in the eyes.

I suspect that even when, from a technical standpoint, the hardware of the robots becomes perfect, and the software matures, they will still be in the uncanny valley. Even more so.

If I was the designer, I would make the robot a copy of myself.

Perhaps I could then integrate my brain with the robots to form a robot-human cyborg. When I want to sleep, I'll let me alter ego take over and visa versa. That would be so cool.

I swear the new face looks much younger than the previous, it's very child-like. Not sure how appropriate that is, suggest you going back to the old face, but maintain the level of detail this new face has.

Not sure if I like this voice better than the old one. It's partly the ringing sound in the recording that bothers me, but while the pronunciation has improved, its syllable stress is noticeably exaggerated, and conveys a less confident tone. Hopefully that isn't too hard to tweak in the software you're using.

The new facial expressions mentioned in your blog sound interesting, and I look forward to them.
