The only good movie Tom Cruise did. Best portrayal of Lestat, who is the greatest vampire (or should I say the most magnificent vampire of them all). Marius would be the greatest, only cause Marius played a much larger part and was around for alot longer then Lestat, taking care of the the queen and king of the vampires.

Of course they feel all those. Both Louis and Lestat in the books are fascinated by how strongly they can feel love although they're "monsters"... And in fact all the main characters in Interview With The Vampire deeply love someone... and doesn't Louis feel remorse?

I'm far from being a Twilight fan, but if you think about it, every new vampire tale keeps some of the more "traditional" elements and twists others or suggests new ones, it's nothing new.

Because they are mythical creatures, she is able to imagine and attribute any sort of thing she wants with them, and that is just one facet of the vamps that exist in HER story alone. That does not mean they have to apply to all vampires themselves. Of course, the problem is how popular it has become, and uh, the sparkling thing. In any case, their real downfall is that they are so one-dimensional.
