Looking forward to Episode 2, whenever that may be...

oh sick thanks for clearing that up, I never had the chance to read any of the comic books :) wow that's weird about poor old fortress though, and it sucks he never realy got much coverage in the american last saga... I've only seen bits and peices of the Japanese headmasters though, but it just doesn't feel the same with everyone speaking japanese and their voices are all different... :(

@evandouglas1 Redemption follows on from the comic continuity, not the cartoon continuity; in the original Marvel comics, Fortress Maximus was a large Autobot, but not the city sized robot he was in the cartoons.

Both Transformers: Animated and Transformers: Prime are American TV series. There hasn't been a Japanese Transformers TV series since Cybertron.

The comics are made in America, and the toys themselves are designed jointly by Hasbro in the US, and Takara in Japan.

I'm not sure what on Earth your point is.

And TF Animated and TF Prime are produced from Studio in japan, specialy TF Prime is produced by the studio who made Soul Calibur and Ninza Gaiden.

And the toys are disighn from Takara thats is why Masterpiece Figures are first in Japan and later anywhere else.

Yes there are a lot comic of TF but there are a lot of Manga of TF and the Mangas in the 80's when G1 was around were far supirior in charecter disign then Marvel.

@TheForgotenStef30000 Polygon Pictures did the animation for TF Prime not Digitalscape. Also, The toys are designed by both Hasbro and Takara. The initial figures originated from Japan but the mythology itself was created by Marvel Comics.

i was thinking of making a transformers series and do you have any tips on making one? like design, transformation animation, texturing, textures, what to make first the vehicle or bot form.

@DaDarkDragon91 I animate everything by hand; there are ways of automating things like transformations but I find it easier to do it that way. Texturing is a matterof making sure everything looks right withthe lighting you use; one is very much dependent on the other.

Damn, that was AWESOME. How long did it take you just to make Cybertron?

Cybertron was the easiest part...! The planet was just a load of spheres with holes cut through them, and the cityscape is mostly lots of copies of the same few buildings arranged in a pattern. I didn't have a very powerful PC to do everything on when I made Episode One, so I couldn't do a lot of what I intended. That's all changed now, though. :)

i noticed some mistakes though, cybertron, had two moons, not one, i saw only one moon there so i thought i wanted to mention that.

there also was well.... you didn't eventually show what he character's names were, not the autobots, there was megs, but i dunno the others...... maybe you should put the names in as they are introduced.

Before I make any constructive criticisms, let me say that your short film was damn impressive for everything else. Your animation does seem a tad slow. It would do wonders to knock it up to 30 fps. If you're already at that, try smoothing your animation's timing in After Effects, perhaps. Also, be mindful of your sound balance. It was difficult to hear voices during some of the louder portions of your musical score. This is something also easily fixed in After Effects. Great job, all around!

Because it's based on the same toy. ;)

Skyquake was repainted for the Machine Wars line as Starscream; he was also the first 3D Tranasformer I built, so I used the model in Episode One.

Fort Max is smaller because he is based on his appearances in the Marvel comics; he was much smaller in them.

As for the other characters:
