  • Hi Skelly, happy you posted this video - can i find you in US - im in tulsa OK - Peter

  • @worldscan I am in Kentucky

  • @truth4Children Before I begin to answer your questions, please answer a few questions for me:

    1) Did you watch the entire video that you are commenting under?

If no, then please watch the whole video before commenting again.

    2) If yes, then please address the points that I make in the video. Thanks...

  • I think Pretrib is mostly a western view. We don't know what it is to suffer for Christ. Try to tell someone from Afghanistan or China that God won't let us suffer so we will have Pretrip. I would be curios what the response would be.

  • @7archers Most would laugh at such an idea. It doesn't go along with the Bible (2 Timothy 3:12) and it doesn't go along with their experience. Many in the Chinese Church are praying for persecution to come to America, so that we will wake up.

  • @skellys3 Its coming.

  • @7archers I agree. It's already...in small amounts: /watch?v=OB482lJp2lk

  • @skellys3 Kerrigan, not always in small amounts. People are quietly having their kids taken from them and put onto the street as they reach retirement.

  • I got exposed to the "Pre-Trib Rapture Theory" when I bought the movie "Left Behind". Then I got into the topic and dig in more. Then I started reading books(not Left Behind books) but old ones from 1900's by great preachers. I watched movies like "Years of the Beast" "Image of the Beast" and other ones and will listen to pastors teach on the Theory. But when I read "Foxe Book of Martyrs" and in the Bible how Christians died for Christ..I started to question it.

  • I always believed the Post Trib view. It just made more sense.

  • great video, those who claim a pretrib rapture, say it's plainly revealed in scripture [I once believed in a pretrib rapture] but I challenge anyone watching this video to find a pretrib rapture in the Bible, based solely on scripture, it's not there. in the last days believers will be turned from truth to fables [2 Tim.4:3-4] "left behind" is a fable now being touted as truth, decieving millions of believers. remain strong in your efforts to reveal truth, keep up the good work. God bless

  • @sidrojoe Amen! Thanks...

  • Get your souls together where speculation won't matter.

  • @Vyson03 Huh? Not sure I understand what you are saying...

  • @disciple1335 Maybe you should just watch the video and deal with the Scriptures I bring forward, eh? God Bless...

  • @disciple1335 Maybe you are just having a problem with giving up your unbiblical position? There's nothing wrong with confidence in your theological position. There are some theological doctrines that I am still "up in the air" about...but this definitely isn't one of them. There are lots of things that I am very confident about and would say, "you are wrong if you disagree with me on this": Trinity, Saved by Grace through Faith, Holiness or Hell, OSAS is WRONG, Calvinism is WRONG, etc.

  • @disciple1335 Their you go assuming again. I use ALL CAPS for emphasis, NOT because I'm "mad" or "yelling". I never said that I wasn't "open to being wrong". BUT "being open to being wrong" doesn't mean that I lack confidence in my position or that I haven't studied out the other positions to the point of being able to reject them as "WRONG". I've studied the "proof texts" for the Pre-Trib Rapture and they are lacking. There is NO WAY that it is right. Sorry if my confidence bothers you!

  • @disciple1335 What an illogical position that is. So, you are TELLING ME that I am wrong for telling others they are wrong? That makes no sense whatsoever. I never said that I was the "sole authority" on theology or that I "know everything". That is something that you ASSUMED about me. BUT, I have obviously come to the conclusions that I have BECAUSE I believe that I am right. If I thought there was a possibility that I could be wrong, I wouldn't have bothered doing a video on it.

  • @disciple1335 What do you expect me to say? I think that the Post-Trib position is Biblical and right. Logically speaking, wouldn't that make all of the other positions wrong- Pre-Trib, Mid-Trib, Amillennialism, Post-Millennialism, etc.? Are you telling me that I am wrong for saying that? Then aren't you doing the very same thing that I am doing?

  • Amen! Excellent video. I wonder what the persecuted church in China (or anywhere for that matter) would think if you told them that they would be raptured away before all of the suffering starts?

  • @KR46389 Amen. They'd probably laugh in your face...

  • I agree that pre-trib rapture is probably false, and that teaching it as biblical truth when it's not mentioned specifically that way in the bible is dangereous. We were not promised an easy time on earth. We were told we'd be persecuted for being followers of Jesus, and that we'd be mocked, and imprisoned, and killed for the testimony of Jesus. Many of us who see the tribulation will die violent deaths at the hands of our coming one world government, labeled as terrorists.

  • I think people want to believe in pre-trib because they are afraid of what is to come and it gives them false comfort to think they won't have to go through it--it's a cowardly stance, but I think that's why they do it. We should trust in Christ concerning things to come.

  • @Danthemanlyman7 Amen, I agree...

  • I find your videos very informative. I hope that these vids will bring people to the Lord.

  • @romuluspry Thank you...me too!

  • great video man you another vs you can use is rev 14:8 , were the angel says Babylon fallen , is fallen , as we all should know happens at the end of the great tribulation , the fall of Babylon the great can also be found in rev 18:1-2 ,,, and this is the same chapter of the ripe harvest , i believe this is the rapture or at lest the dead , but don't mater cause they go first anyways , i got lots more that you never gave but God Bless You msg me if you like to have them GB U ttyl

  • Well said. Thank you so much for explaining the pre rapture myth. I really learned alot. Everything you said is in the bible. I understand now. Thanks

  • @ltucker1765 You're welcome. Glad I could help. God Bless...

  • If a post-rapture were true, there would be no one left to enter the kingdom age the Bible talks about. Think about it... In reality based on Biblical scripture it could really only be talking about a pre or mid trib rapture, but not a post trib. It's clear in the Bible that no believer will live during the tribulation time because the holy spirit will be removed for one. His Word is quite clear He will remove the Body of Christ not after but before. Check it out my friend it's all in the Word.

  • @AA7GDX Umm....first of all, did you even watch this whole video? It sure doesn't seem like it from your comments. Secondly, if it is all "quite clear" and it's "all in the Word", then please show me some Scriptures that support everything you just said...ones that I didn't address in this video...

  • Well done video! But may i ask you why your channel is so hard on Calvinist? I am a calvinist myself, but I believe that all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ are my brothers and sisters. I am sorry but it really hurts me to know a fellow believer would dispise me in such a way, and it turns me off to your teachings even when I agree with you on topics like post trib, which saddens me.

  • @mvmof2 I'd like to know where and when I have ever said that I "despise Calvinists" as you say above. I've ALWAYS said that I despise CALVINISM and that I expose it out of love for Calvinists who are believing a lie. Meanwhile, your "Calvinist brothers" call me all kinds of names, treat me in an unloving way, call me a heretic, tell lies about me, etc.

  • @skellys3 I am sorry that their are calvinists that have called you names. That is not right in my eyes at all. I guess I feel that way on your home page where you talk about calvinists and unbelivers not bother to post. I can understand it better i guess now if there were a lot of people calling you names you just did not want them to post. Not all calvinist. This does make me feel better I guess if I know you stil see us as brothers and sisters in Christ.

  • @mvmof2 Actually, that is not what my home page says about Calvinists. You really should read and listen more carefully. Here's what it actually says: "If you are just an angry Calvinist, Atheist or any other kind of angry sinner, who just wants to post vulgarity or be hostile, don't waste your time. I won't allow your comments on my channel or videos. Your comments must be about the video and must be considerate..."

  • @mvmof2 Cont... "If you are hateful, use cuss words or try to post comments that have nothing to do with the content of the video, your comments will NOT be allowed." THAT is what my home page actually says. The point is that there are many Calvinists who fit this description. It is unfortunate, but it is true. It seems you are not one of those kind of Calvinists, therefore you are welcome to post on my videos...

  • @skellys3 Thank you for welcoming me. I actually came to your channel through your video "WAKE UP CHURCH" I have it on the front of my channel, and I feel it is so true. My Inlaws are as far from Calvinism as you can get as well as believes in pre trib. But that does not make me think just because they don't have the same theology as me that we are any different in the Lords eyes. Thanks be to our Lord that we are saved by grace not if we have our theology right.

  • @mvmof2 Amen...

  • The word restrainer is translated as "HINDERER" in the KJV, which makes is clearer to understand that the HINDERED is as you state at around 34:00min. to be FALLEN angels. Satan will be cast out of the heavenlies where he is NOW presently HINDERING the prayers of the saints. Give it some thought, because the timing all fits perfectly. Also read 1 Thess chaprters 1 and 2 together and you will notice TWO revealings. Jesus will not be revealed UNTIL two things happen...NOW you KNOW what witholds!

  • I just want people to remember that Jesus often spoke spiritual things to people and the pharisees almost always interpreted what He was saying in the NATURAL.

  • @jcschain1 Yes, that is true, BUT that doesn't mean that we can or should "spiritualize" everything in the Bible and make it say what it is not saying. The allegorical interpretation to Scripture leads to many errors...

  • @skellys3 God bless you brother, I agree....John

  • In other words....I am not disagreeing with any of your statements as they are supported by the Word.

  • And could it be?.....that the "abomination of desolation" are the false believers who defile the body of Christ by proclaiming to be true believers in Him when really they are like Judas?

  • @jcschain1 No, for the same reason I just gave you to your last question...

  • @jcschain1 I believe both can be true...what I say does not oppose what you say....it lines up perfectly...and does not disagree with your view....I agree with your view and mine as well. There are different "layers" of revelation in scripture...to believe God's Word is limited to a one layer view for all scripture is to limit God and His revelation of HIMSELF to us in the Word of God....The Bible.

  • @jcschain1 Both MAY be true, but this Scripture isn't saying both. It is saying one thing, the very literal thing that I talk about in this video...

  • Could it be that the "New Temple" that is built are the true remnant that are to be saved? And could it be that the anti-christ is the Temple of Satan, those who believed the lie and whose father is the devil?

  • @jcschain1 No, I don't think so. I don't take a figurative or allegorical approach to interpreting Scripture unless it is needed. There is no need for it in this case. The only reason someone would interpret it that way is if they came to the Scripture with a preconceived doctrine in hand, so that they could make it say that...

  • I AGREE MUCH OF WHAT YOU SAY - JUST NEED HELP IN SOME OF THE CONTROVERSIAL VERSES USED TO CONTRADICT >> LIKE THIS ONE

Revelation 3:10 says we will be kept out of the hour of testing ???

  • @PADIERMA This verse is speaking of the WRATH of God and NOT the time of great tribulation. You see the time of great tribulation and the wrath of God are separated by the rapture of the church. If you want scripture and verse and a full explanation I have some videos on this subject on my channel. The Bible without fail plainly teaches a post tribulation rapture. The first resurrection, the second coming and the rapture are ALL the same event. This is absolutely what the Bible teaches.

  • . My question is why does the word say "to count pray and count ourselves worthy to escape these things"?( this is one of the verses the pre-tribbers use) I used to compare it to when he says as in the days of noah -- he did not pull noah out but helped him make it THROUGH .. same with moses as he brought him out of egypt and THROUGH the desert . and many other examples .. so is that what the verse means?

  • @PADIERMA Can you give me the reference to the verse you are talking about?

  • Thanks for the video, I agree with you. God bless you and your ministry. I'll be sharing this video with some friends.. I am very concerned that many peoples faith will be shaken when they are not "raptured" before the time of trouble.

  • Hi Pastor Skelly!

Good video. And as you explore the topic more you'll see the case for the Post-Trib Pre-Mill eschatology gets stronger and stronger.

For example, Zechariah 14:1-7 makes it crystal clear that the Day of the Lord is a single day, not a "period of time". Many Pre-Trib teachers try to stretch it over the whole Tribulation because if it is one day Pre-Trib is impossible.

  • Be careful when rocking that chair, you're knocking holes in your walls. lol

  • @iknowthetruth777 LOL! That one was there before I started. What an EYE SORE! This video was taped at a relative's house, not my house...

  • @Donaldwebbfingers1 You're talking about user name "kingdomwarriorscom". The guy's name is Emmanuel.

  • @Donaldwebbfingers1 Sorry, I don't know him. I really don't watch too many YouTube videos...

  • @skellys3 The user name Donaldwebbfingers1 is talking about is "kingdomwarriorscom", the man's name is Emmanuel.

  • @Donaldwebbfingers1 You could send him this video or try to discuss the Scriptures contained in this video with him. He IS a false teacher, in the sense that he is teaching falsely. I couldn't say that he is on his way to hell for teaching the pre-trib rapture. I would need more information...

  • @skellys3

I don't even know there is any debate about it. Jesus Christ plainly said he'd return AFTER the Tribulation (Matthew 24:39).

  • @ManOfGod626 I agree...there is NO debate...

  • at 19:17 delivers what ?

  • @treasureinvessel Jesus delivers the Kingdom to God the Father, just like 1 Corinthians 15 says...

  • @TheChildlikeheart Praise God! God Bless...

  • I know this....Jesus Christ is Lord. He is the same today, yesterday, and forever....no matter when he comes....I'm goin'!

  • @gospelgirl1964 Yes, but I think that God's revealed Word gives us much more assurance than that of WHEN He will come, concerning before or after the tribulation...

  • @skellys3 I just know that I'm goin'....whenever it may be!

  • Hey...you got a hole in your wall behind you.

  • @gospelgirl1964 Yes, I know. Sorry for the eye sore...

  • @skellys3 I was just goofin' with ya. No harm no foul. Looks like somebody go mad and put their fist thru your wall. Hmmmmm.....

  • @gospelgirl1964 That's not my wall. This was videotaped at a relative's house. I have no idea how that hole got there...

  • Thanks for the teaching, may the Lord Jesus bless u.

  • @EZASOMO You are welcome. God Bless you as well...

  • I am a bit confused, i have seen pictures and paintings of Jesus simply appearing in the sky shining brighter than the sun and gathering the Church after the tribulation, but I have read in Revelations 19:11 that Jesus would come on a milk white horse with the armies of Heaven following him. Which is it?

  • @JohnBaptist702 Are you saying that you get your "truth" from "pictures and paintings"? I'm not sure what you are confused about. The Bible is where we get our truth from. Read it, believe it and obey it...

  • @JohnBaptist702 Bible says he comes IN clouds or WITH CLOUDS -- now i am far from a expert but IN or WITH CLOUDS does not mean ON --- If there is a verse that says he is sitting ON a cloud please let me know cuz i would like to know why there'd be two comings too ,or is HE on a cloud and on a horse .. lol :) pictures these days do not show truth ---- :)

  • @JohnBaptist702 ok so i did find on where he says he is ON the clouds Mat 24:30 (-They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory).- So that sounds like 2 different comings or HE is on the horse on top of the cloud while on the horse -- difinatly more studying for us eh :) you can find my youtube by my name padierma and please share your differences with me as i am studying this now also :)

  • Great teaching, sir. Praise God for the clarity of His word. Judgeing by the dislikes, there are some people who don't care for truth.. It's sad.

People just need to read their bibles. It's quite clear. The TRUMPET will sound, not a dog whistle! The secret taking away of the church is a myth. Another thing they miss.. What about those christians in the middle east and Asia who are being persecuted. Did the rapture already happen for that region? LOL!!

God bless you and your ministry.

  • @Soul4JC Amen! God Bless you too...

  • Some people feel that Christians don't deserve to be taken out, that we should have to endure at least part of the Tribulation. We should somehow have to be tortured to prove our loyalty to Christ. However, He did all the work on the cross. All we have to do is repent and believe that Jesus is Lord. Besides, it takes faith to believe that He will return for His Bride before the Tribulation. The bottom line is that we are looking for Christ and not the Antichrist!

  • @MrCairokid I have to ask, did you even watch the whole video? If so, do you believe the Scriptures? They plainly say that one thing that MUST happen BEFORE Christ returns is the antichrist being revealed. Christ tells us to look for the signs of His coming. This is simply one of them...

  • I agree with your post-trib. Christian's in China for years have suffered from tribulation. The American church has fought hard to promote an easy street version of Christianity, but it is not the case. Jesus said that just before Jesus comes back it will be as in the days of Noah, so will the days of the son of man will be. If we follow this pattern of the days of Noah, we know that God's people were rescued before the floods came. Therefore, God's people will be rescued before the fire comes.

  • @prffsrx God's people don't have to be "rescued" per say. They can be right in the midst of the judgment and wrath of God without being touched by it...similar to the plagues in Egypt...

  • Pretty good stuff. It makes me wonder why I was even confused on the subject. I read that Thes. poassage many times before, and can't believe i didn't see how clear it was that there is no pre-trib rapture.

  • @LiquidSmooth Amen, praise God!

  • Isn't the restrainer the Holy Spirit........the one thing in scripture that Restrains evil and sin.......thus God will take the Holy Spirit from the Earth, and with the Holy Spirit being sealed into the Church, God will NOT take the Holy Spirit from us, but take the Church and the Holy Spirit at the same time, that is what Pre-Trib believes.

  • @kageninshikamaru No, the restrainer is not the Holy Spirit. He is never taken from the Earth and the Bible never says such. As the videos shows, the Church is NOT what is taken from the earth either. Did you watch the whole video? I talk about this in depth in it...

  • @skellys3 of course I watch the whole video...I was simply explaining to you what the theory is on the restrainer.

  • @kageninshikamaru Ok, I was just wondering, since I talk about this whole issue in the video. I understand the theory and that is why I said that it wasn't true. I wouldn't say that something wasn't true if I didn't understand it. I hope you understand, since you watched the whole video, that the Church simply CANNOT be the restrainer...

  • Not every star is bigger then the earth, some are downright tiny...

  • @biggamerjh1 Really, like which ones? I have never heard of that? Where in the Universe are they located?

  • @skellys3 I was not trying to be rude when I made this comment, only trying to expand your knowledge of science in the same way you are expanding my knowledge of scripture... but nearly a dozen dwarf stars close to the center of the galaxy have been estimated to be roughly the same size of the moon and a handful even smaller. Now in terms of Mass they have much more then our Earth... but the volume is smaller.

  • @biggamerjh1 I don't think that you are trying to be rude. What made you think that I thought that? Thanks for sharing. I still think they will be asteroids, for the reasons I give in the video, though I could be wrong...

  • @skellys3 Oh you could still be very much right, I just wanted to help enlighten you before certain groups tried to flock and pick you apart just because of a simple mistake.

  • @biggamerjh1 That's true that not every star is bigger than the Earth, however to get to that small of the size they would have to explode or nova, or have the matter sucked up by a larger star leaving only a core. So those tiny stars aren't really living stars, they are dead stars. The bottom line is that an asteroid could be a star in the Bible.

  • They say the 2nd coming and the rapture are two different events. I've been trying to figure this out for years. I think can one make a good point either way. I've heard both sides defended with scripture. Of coarse there's also the mid-tribulation view.

  • @BipolarPics Yeah, well, I'd like to see them prove that from Scripture. I don't think they have any good points to be honest. Did you watch the whole video that you are commenting under?

  • @skellys3 Yes, now I have. I'm just saying that of lot of bible teachers I really respect are pre-trib such as Chuck Missler.

Me, I tend to lean toward mid-trib, but I pray I'll be able to endure persecution and even death for the Lord's sake and withstand if necessary the whole 7 year tribulation period.

  • @BipolarPics I understand. It doesn't matter how many teachers that you respect teach it if it isn't Biblical. Majority does not = truth. Truth is determined from proper interpretation of the Scriptures...

  • @skellys3 Ok a question if we go through tribulation and after we are given a body incoruptalbe of sin then who re-populates the earth? aren't we going to be like the angels mof heaven who wont be given in marrage or able to reproduce. Wont we have to have people who went through it and are chosen to re-populate how can that happen if everyone who survived is given a body that makes that impossible. Just something for you to think on.

  • @nonoobtubeplz122 The ones who will "populate" the earth during the 1,000 year reign will be the unbelievers who have not taken the mark of the beast when Christ returns. Christ will not destroy all unbelievers when He returns, only those who are on the Antichrist's side and have taken the mark of the beast. God Bless...

  • @skellys3 Ok then I have another question the tribulation begins in chapter 6 in the book of Revelation. In chaperts 4-5 you go to heaven and you find a group called the 24 elders which as fas as I can see would be the glorifed church they all have crowns which is promised to the church and there are also alot of other features which shows they could possibly be the church. If there is a post tribulation rapture which you claim to be then who are these people and what are they doing in heaven?

  • @nonoobtubeplz122 The Book of Revelation is NOT chronological. I encourage you to check out the resources at the website I recommended at the end of the video. God Bless...

  • @BipolarPics I have yet to see any solid teaching that supported pre-trib.There is no support in scripture for a pre-trib rapture - None. And the Bible says quite the opposite. Yes they can quote verses here, and there, but they are all out of context, and sometimes wildly distorting and twisting scripture. It has all the marks of a false teaching. And that is dangerous.

  • The "rapture" happens at the second coming of Christ. The 1 resurrection of the dead referred to in revelations happens at the second coming.

  • @DIVINESOTERIOLOGY Yes, the "rapture", the second coming and the first resurrection are all the same event...
