  • masterpiece divine song and album love this

  • Being 27 it's kinda' hard to imagine what people like Cobain, Hendrix, Morrison, Joplin , etc. went through to have done all this and already be gone.

  • courtney killed him XD

well i believe that he probably did kill himself, but you ALL have to admit the evidence stacks up against her

    god i love you kurt

and i love you frances farmer

both ur lives sucked, hope ur better now <3

  • while i will not rate because you asked, i will comment. this song is too punk for a dumpster. fuck all you people who say kurt sucks. fuck all the people who say he was a junkie, fuck all the people who don't like this. he lived a life. left us a beautiful memory and departed. we should be grateful. he was a human, and that's all.

    R.I.P. Cobain.

  • i love this song i just played it on guitar. nirvana forever............

  • Great song, great band

  • this song takes me back to the summer of... 2007 haha.

  • read SHADOWLAND, THE BIOGRAPHY OF FRANCES FARMER WAY AHEAD OF HER TIME AND SHE WAS DESTROYED BYHER MOTHER AND THE HORRENDOUS STATE MENTAL HEALTH SYSTEM IN WASHINGTON AT THE TIME OR IF YOU DONT WANT TO READ SEE THE FILM FRANCES WITH JESSICA LANGE

great film though very painful to watch i could only watch it once Lange is amazing in it could tell she identified totally with frances

  • Haven't seen the film but i just finished the book. It's unreal. I suggest anyone who hasn't read it should run right out and get it :)

  • guys that seether band is apose to be like nirvana, but its not as apeeling as real 1990 grunge... : \ wheres the Depressed vocalist? wheres the 100 feet tall bass player! where the SADGASM! lol had to make a movement!

  • I miss the comfort in being sad....

  • this band is too amazing for words!

  • holy tits, I love this band. I remember the day he died, it felt like I lost half of myself.

  • where did you get this version from?

  • its off the actual in utero cd

  • rofl, yeah seriously. when i saw in the description that its "a great version of the song" i thought i was in for a treat, like it was a really good live version or something. nope, just the same old album version.

  • im so happy alternative and grunge kinda stuff are comin back

  • Any recommendations?

I'm Coabain's age (born 1967), have three young kids, and so am TOTALLY "out of it." Nirvana is still my favorite band. So what alternative/grunge-type bands out there now would be good for us Gen-Xers to try out?

    Thanks.

  • I don't know but I'm much younger than you...Stone Temple Pilots just got back together and theyre making a new album

  • well weezer are really good and puddle of mudd and stone temple pilots are back and alice in chains (not with layne obimento) and pearl jam is always good. i am not as old as you but my stepdad likes theses bands too and u are close in age

  • i just recently started listening to sloan, and you should definitely try out the screaming trees and the lemonheads. these arent new bands though. they were around when nirvana was. just figured id mention them in case you missed them.

  • If your into 60s70s hard rock and roll check out Blue Cheer, if you like black sabbath(old) then you will like blue cheer.

  • i still love BLUE CHEER great comment

think i will listen to their first album again they were all so good

    i love vinyl

always have it will save it until i die

  • there not.....its getting worse. grunge will be back in like 50 years though

  • Is that from full metal jacket or duke nukem mustangcobain65?

  • not sure

  • BTW--The photo here surprised me. I've never seen Cobain with a Telecaster before this.

  • Listen to any nirvana song and

    see how they rocked

see how kurt was original with his style

    see how talented they were

If ur a nirvana hater look at yourself in the mirror and see how pathetic you are

if u hate nirvanaispus and other youtube nirvana haters friend me

  • I love the part from :40 to :50. The distortion is just awesome. I think hes like holding the guitar up to the amp or something. Anyway great song.

  • and ppl quit thinking theres a solo in this song its an interlude

  • More of a "break" than an "interlude."

  • no man its an interlude

  • She'll come as fire, to burn all the liars, and leave a blanket of ash on the ground.... great lyrics

  • actually everyone sais that bitch courtney killed kurt but it hurts me everytime i think about it thats why if anyone wants to come at the anaheim angels stadium in 4 days where playing the whole CD on utero as a tribute to nirvana

  • This song is epic. In a good way.

  • I love the solo.

    It's awesome

  • I love this song.I have always thought this song was 100% about Courtney Love. Could you imagine living with that old battle axe.

  • yeah, but he loved her and they got along, until she got him to kill himself that is

  • Around the time of my birth, Nirvana was on tour for Bleach, and I still remember when my mother told me that he had died. It never stops hurting, you know? We all owe something to Nirvana for the music our generation grew up with. If only it could've reched out to more of us when we were young.

  • thats what im saying...i live in downtown seattle and not many kids listen to nirvana or grunge in general, everyone listens to gay goth scream grindcore metal or some fucking gay ass rap...it sucks

  • fuck yeah that shit sucks expecially rap

  • OMG one of my favorite Nirvana songs got In utero greatest hits and bleach...Kurt changed my life so much I'm only 14 but i would love to have met this guy

  • I´m 16. I was three when nirvana´s songs came out but i got all thier albums and I know every song. Nirvana Rocks 4 eva!!!

  • es mi cancion preferida de nirvana.

  • cool its one of my favriots too

  • ah these new generations of Nirvana fans. I was a teenager when this came out...."I've never heard this song" is kind of funnny for me to see I forget how fucking old I'm getting

  • lol thats depressing to think about.think im gonna do like kurt ;D

  • "It's so relieving knowing that ur leaving soon as u get paid." -Pimp Cobain

  • at the risk of sounding like a complete moron, ive never heard this song...but think its rather fitting for such a tortured woman (not by her own account)...

  • She's actually a metaphor for his feelings on fame. Its not about her directly.

  • Probably...but the "she'll come back as fire and burn all the liars" line could very well have been about FF

  • It could be about her, when it talks about 'Our favourite paient' I think it refers to her when she was put in an institution.

  • the song's lyrics are about a specific article that ran in Vanity Fair about Courtney doing drugs when she was pregnant. But the lyrics also have some very overt references to Frances Farmer.

  • Actually...Frances Farmer's story is one that touched Kurt on a level that could be concieved as metaphorical, but in Farmer he saw a sort of kindred spirit who was affected by fame and her disdain towards being famous was matched by Kurt.

  • i know this version is on "in utero" (love love love love it) are there any other versions of this song?

thanks for the cool vids, by the way...nirvana is amazing.

  • IN MY OPINION, THE BEST NIRVANA'S SONG

  • yeah me too, nice job man

  • Nice job... I subscribed.

  • thxs for the subscription but most of all thxs for listening to nirvana
