  • Eli thanks so much for your work and time you have giving us. Your knowledge is greatly visible in computers and their functions. Keep it up!

  • How can a server been hack and how can you protect your server to attacks ,

I ALREADY am your biggest fan thx for all your time invest on the youtube for us for me :D thx!!!

  • ...and that's we have RHEL and SLES :D

  • @85Damix Take a good long look at their licensing requirements... A RHEL server can be foolishly expensive once you ad everything up.

  • @elithecomputerguy offcourse that's why we have CentOS, SL and etc.... :)

  • Thanks Eli. That was a great video. I have a feeling, correct me if I am wrong, that you are on team Mac/Apple. Anyway, on your comment about Licensing with Windows Server thats almost same on VMware and any other popular programs and technology. (I used to work for VMware licensing.)

  • @10026270 Nope... I use whatever works... Frankly I think all vendors are a pain in the ass

  • very well explained with

    clear voice

  • THUMBS UP if u like Eli,s videos

  • This introduction is very helpful as im now migrating myself to IT world. Thank you Eli.

  • Finally a simple explanation. Again, awesome job!

  • This is a very good video. I do need to point out that, at about 18:30 Eli mentions that you can put servers running Windows Server 2008 Standard Edition into clusters. This is only partially correct. You can have them as members of a Network Load Balancing cluster (NLB), but not the more prevalent Failover Cluster (using Microsoft Clustering Service, or MSCS). This requires, at a minimum, Enterprise Edition. Otherwise, great vid!

  • thanks for this foros i like it ...

i will bwach all your videos

  • thanks for this foros i like it ...

  • Just a quick note as a small business owner who is responsible for all IT creation, support and issues, your videos are very informative and helpful. I have created a couple of videos myself (non IT related) and feel tremendous gratitude in knowing that I have helped other people out there, and especially saved them money and time. Thank you.

  • thank you so much. I love your videos. you are a life saver. thanks for putting this out for free. I'm really broke and can't afford to buy books and materials on top of my server costs. thanks so much.
