Good video, but I didn't need to "limp wrist" to get my glocks to malfunction, they were capable of that all on their own. Sig Sauer has been the most reliable pistol. I liked that M&P.
why didnt you use a 45 cal glock? its a bit of an unfair comparision using a weaker, 9mm round, which doesnt produce nearly as much recoil as a 45 to pull back the slide fully, regardless of the "limp wrist" comparison
@rarecpus Doesn't make a difference from my experience. I've fired a G21 at the range, freshly cleaned and lubricated. Tested it limp wristed, didn't cycle once.
@oOChaosWolfOo My glock 21SF cycles fine with my reloads 230 grain plated ball at 860FPS but when I limp wrist it fails to eject. If I had a steady or firm grip it cycles 100%. I also noticed it becomes more easy to get it to jam limp wristing as the magazine gets closer to empty as the frame gets lighter.
@rarecpus My Glock 30 stove pipes with a limp wrist. Its all about the design of the firearm not the amount of recoil the round delivers. HK design > Glock design
This is great test. Thanks! I'm not surprised of good performance of HK and SIG. No opinion about S&W's. Not surprised by Glock, though I keep away just from any striker fired ones (hammer more reliable if frozen).
With guns there is no such thing as operator error (except loading cartridges backwards). If I depress the trigger the gun should fire. If it malfunctions sometimes: its place on some collector's shelf, not in my arsenal. Those who think otherwise may find out they are wrong hard way.
hi man i liked the video, can you do a Limp Wrist Test for a 410 shotgun? i was thinking of buying one but i have wrist pain from a injury so i wanna see how it shoots Limp Wristed?
Its not a dumb test, and it is also not a recommended shooting style. It is however a real world test of how well the gun mechanism works. If your in the police, or military, not every shot are you going to be in the action hero pose. If your gun fires reliably limp wristed, then it's a more reliable gun than the ones that don't, its as simple as that.
Don't know if I am right or not, but thought I read that the USP 45 and Tactical 45 use a different recoil spring, so put the usp45 in your tactical? Down side would have to switch springs when you want to shoot with a can.
Baby pistol is 9mm

this is the dumbest test of ANY handgun. If you ever did or had to shoot this way you shouldn't have a gun. PERIOD.

Not only did the glock misfeed, you could not even hit the target!!!! Glock perfection!!
whitedogfive 1 year ago
@whitedogfive Glocks would be almost perfect if it wasnt for that one flaw. It's the only reason I cannot reccomend it as a defense pistol.

Might prefer to get a malfunction than have an accidental mag release ^^
anthonzi 1 year ago
@anthonzi , he most likely hit the mag release button on accident.
hahaland74 1 year ago
@hahaland74 Yeah probably. But would you want it to do that when you were injured/disabled?
anthonzi 1 year ago
@anthonzi , I'm sure you could accidently hit it on any gun, some more so than others, though. I understand what youre saying.
