This movie is stupid if only because the protaganist would be desperately in love with someone who is about as charming and interesting as plain toast when there is a handsome sweet funny caring guy right in front of her. Urgh! I was so pissed at how this movie ended.

I absolutely love Ethan's character and the way John Krasinski plays him is just right. I love this scene so much. I feel like I could relate Ethan's character so much, but reversed. There is a guy I really like and when he had a girl friend I liked him even more. Team Ethan! <3

I loved Ethan's part in this movie. I liked that they gave him a much bigger part in the movie than in the book. And I really like how John Krasinki played him, it was absolutely perfect. I'm glad that for the movie they didn't make Rachel fall in love with Ethan just because then that would be straying very very far from the book, but I'm glad that they made his part what is really the part of 2 people in the book. 1. it makes keeping track of the characters easier and 2. John Krasinki is hot.

It totally sucks to be in that position, girls always go for the jerk and leave us nice guys alone. All we ever do is care and be the nicest we can and this is what happens. @MangosAreAce Dex wasn't a jerk. He was indecisive and confused. Which is annoying and spineless as shit, but you can tell he genuinely loved Rachel and he did make a decision and be with her in the end. So I wouldn't call Dex the 'jerk.' There was no jerk in this movie. That wasn't the angle they were going for in this movie from what I perceived.

Also I found it kind of disturbing that Rachel still wanted Dex. I mean he cheated on her best friend/his fiance while Rachel was drunk. He could've just not cheated on Darcy after Rachel admitted her feelings for him and just been honest with Darcy about his feelings for Rachel. Of course I know the drama is there for the movie but seriously who'd choose a fair-weather fiance like Dex over a sweetheart like Ethan?

Other than that, there was nothing. And the fact that she didn't even end up with him at the end made me so mad. @MASforevaaa I love Ethan, he really is amazing, caring, funny, and a sweetheart. But he can be such a know-it-all. Darcy can be pretty annoying, but I believe she has redeemable qualities. What I'm getting here is both of them have flaws, but I think they work well with each other. I'm reading the book now (trust me, Darcy IS irritating, but I'm getting to the part where I'm kind of rooting for her already.) I literally can't wait for the movie to see how this goes in the big screen. :D

Throughout this entire movie, I was certain that Rachel and Dex would have made a cute couple. However, after this scene, I saw Ethan in a totally different light, and when I saw Dex later on in the movie, he just didn't seem to measure up in the least. John Krasinski did an amazing job at making Ethan a 3 dimensional character and making the audience fall in love with him within an easy 3 minutes.

She also wrote a second book called "Something Blue" which supposedly has Ethan and Darcy as the two main characters. I read somewhere online that they are thinking of making a second movie based on the second book. Pretty neat. The more we on-screen time John Krasinski has, the better:)
