I done this twice in may 08 we brought one go and got another half price. I highly suggest doing it once in the day and then at night. Little scary at first but great day rest from the theme parks

lmao Whats great about this is that I've done this ride 5 TIMES while drunk and riding with the member Dominique atleast 4 times. She was hot and I got a picture with her friend Lori. It was awesome though cause that ride makes you FLY so fast. Went about... 90ish mph? but it was quick XD

haha i stayed in the hotel beside this 2 years ago. at night when i would be swimming in the pool people that was riding this you could hear them screaming. it was pretty hilarious. i really wanted to ride it but i was WAY to scared.

i am going back in like 16 days i might do it.

I was a site-controller at a SkyCoaster and I can tell you there is no mechanism for the staff to pull the cord if the people don't want to do it. That would be a big lawsuit, don't you think? :)

:) Yes, they stay up there. Actually it does happend to have people that chicken out and do not want to pull the cord. If this is the case, they are taken down the same way they were sent up: nice and slow....and boring and uninteresting. It is to be noted this is absolutely one of the safest rides ever to be sold for "fun". And I can tell you for a fact that it brings more adrenaline than the tallest and fastest rollercoaster in the world (Kingd Ka). Only skydiving must be better. :)

I've done this, it's not too bad, looks much worse than what it really is. Hardest part is pulling the chord. You do have the option to pull the chord as soon as you want to. I rode this with my brother-in-law and my wife at the same time. First 75-100 feet was free fall, after that, your gliding like your on a big swing. I agree, I had to drink a couple of beers before I went, but would definatly do it again.

I did this with my brother in September 2007 on holiday with the family. It's the most awesome adrenalin buzz you'll ever have!! We seemed to be the only british there and all the others were drinking themselves stupid so they would have dutch courage! It was worth the 2 and a half hour wait tho!!!

I prepped for this at Michigan Adventure. A little park in Mich. Only 210ft. The Skycoaster was far better. You really should try it. If you enjoy adrenaline rushes you'd enjoy the Skycoaster!
