Yes although in the PC version that seems to be buggy. My character choice got reset a few times after closing the choice window.

It's called hover mode. Jet characters have it instead of super jump for ground based transformers.

Yes. Bumblebee has serious kickass anti-air rockets. And when you're in vehicle mode, you can't regain health (like when you're flying) whilst on the ground not engaging any enemy or transforming, you gain health when your health goes down.

Yes you can play as Powered-Up Prime in multiplayer, if you want to see what it looks like I use him in a single player video (Total Devastation).
