Instead of penalizing the illegal immigrants who are working in this country, why don't we go after the big meat corporations who advertise jobs in Mexico and pay for them to be bussed into the United States? In many cases the problem is the employer, who also has deep ties to the regulatory bodies in our government who turn a blind eye to their cheap labor schemes.

Huckabee is NOT taking a hard line. As pointed out, under his 9 pt amnesty plan (and YES, it IS amnesty), illegals would have 4 months to go home. Wait a day or so, return, and PRESTO, they're legalized. Please spread the word and don't let Huckabee and the MSM get away with this. Mike Huckabee has absolutely no legitimacy on the illegal immigration issue. Just take a look at his record as Governor: supported in state tuition for illegals, opposed a bill that would have cut off welfare to illegals-even calling people who supported the bill "unchristian", helped build a Mexican consulate in Little Rock that provides services to illegals, supported the Amnesty Bill (which he claims is not really amnesty), took major donations from Tyson Corp. (employer of illegals)

It's easy. Deny free social services. Period. Forbid illegals from suing Americans for any reason whatsoever (many make a good living from insurance fraud), deportation without exception (those whose families have been living off the paychecks of American families can go home, and apply legally as a family), and secure the border.
